It was a nice dinner time overall (because of the company!) with some glitches. While the place has a great contemporary ambiance, excellent wine, and super prompt helpful and friendly service, the food was unremarkable. The cabbage side dish had a thick strong sauce that seemed to taste like ground sausage. The scallops were very few and so small that got lost in the lentils melange. Our food tasted like it was rushed, not enough care in its making or presentation.

The restaurant was probably experiencing a short staffed day. However, everyone was doing their best to make sure we were comfortable with the wait. The quality of the food was excellent and the service was great.

The service was EXCEPTIONAL. The staffing going above and beyond for a birthday at our table. The food was delicious, especially the Benedict's. Access directly off of 5 in the Renaissance with comped underground parking or valet. Will definitely return.
