Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Old Town

The food was amazing. Definitely recommend getting the bread service. The Mac and cheese was perfect and the alcoholic beverages amazing. Had the Wagyu and Ribeye which were both prepared to the T. Compliments to the wait staff as well. Just what I’m looking for from my waiter. Wish I remembered his name but he was great.

One of our favorite restaurants in San Diego; the food is always cooked to perfection and service is always wonderful! Special kudos to Jose for his excellent attention to every detail. My wife adores the Veal Valsostana; I do too but also highly recommend the steak in cognac sauce and the veal marsala and the tortellini verde. Good for every day and for special occasions. Owner Jack makes you feel welcomed.

First visit was so good we decided to drop in again a week later. Asked to be taken care by our last server Mandy but she was out of town, so they hooked us up with her bestie, Nikki. Nikki took amazing care of us, always checking in at the right time. The food was amazing, we tried different entrees and were very happy. Thank you Nikki and all the helpful staff for such a great experience.

Friend and I visited for the Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner. It was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the lamb shank, beef filet, and added the sweet potatoes. Our onion soup and blackened shrimp appetizer choices were delicious. The pumpkin cake and apple pastry desserts were so good. The overall standout was definitely the lamb shank. Unbelievably delicious. The wine list is incredible and we complemented dinner with a lovely Napa Cabernet. The service was excellent and absolutely what you would expect. Bill, was a delight and even took a few photos of us for my visiting friend. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

The good selections are very wide ranging with foods inspired by many culinary influences. I had the Rye Pirogi and the eggplant appetizer. Both were very tasty, except the onions on the Pirogi were not cut as thinly as a previous time I ate this dish and it made a difference. Definitely thin is the way to go. Service is impeccable and they also have yummy drinks.
