Best Casual Restaurants in Waxahachie

Stopped here on a recommendation. Wasn't disappointed - at all. Stellar lunch with excellent food (had the redfish with sauteed spinach on rice) well tended to by Mario (Marco?) waiter and will definitely be back. My only beef is the parking here is "difficult" to say the least. Be prepared to park remotely and hike to the restaurant. I had to park on a side street it was a five minute walk so no big deal.

We love our experience at Pie Tap! Manager (Tyson) is lovely, and every server is kind and knowledgeable. Everytime we’ve come here recently, there is a swift, smart, tall and slender busboy who is incredibly courteous. I’ll get his name for next time but I’ve always been impressed with his demeanor and how he treats every customer with kindness and respect.

Love our neighborhood go to restaurant. Highly recommend.

BSSG has been one of my favorite sushi places for a while. Always great food and service. The waitress we had wasn’t friendly at all. She overfilled my friend’s water cup and the water overflowed on to her. She apologized.

Found this place while searching for oysters in Dallas and they did not disappoint. Best oysters Rockefeller I've had outside of Louisiana. Fresh blackened catfish and churros were also delicious. Manager and staff were very attentive.
