Best Authentic Restaurants in Temple City

I have to admit that it’s been 3 or 4 years since we had been to Malbec and it did not disappoint. The decor seemed more modern and elegant. There was a new bar in the center of the room which was inviting. And the food still did not disappoint. We started with the tuna tartare with yuca chips. It was so good. The tuna pieces were so huge. Four if us were easily able to share it. My husband had the Pacific Sole. His plate was so clean after he was done and I had the Napolitana de Lomo. It was so good but I had to take half of it home cuz it was so big. Overall, a great meal and now we plan to go back and sit at the bar for Happy Hour.

We celebrated a birthday here and want to rave about the delicious food and the amazing service. The seafood salad was fresh and appetizing, the osso bucco was incredibly delicious. There was so much food we each had a take home box. Order the tiramisu for dessert. Beautifully plated, and fabulous.

This is my family's favorite place to eat in Altadena. The honey walnut melon shrimp is divine and the green beans are not to be missed. The chow fun noodles with beef is a nice counterpoint to the sweet shrimp and the spicy heat of the kung pao chicken. Chopsticks upon request (regular and bamboo). I love the little fortune cookies dipped in white chocolate that show up with the bill.

Best Chinese food I have had in LA by a wide margin. Beautiful room, fantastic service. Just a bit of a drive from LA but worth it. Will def return.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was very good; a lovely cheese board and a gorgeous, tasty beet salad. I would go out of my way to come again.
