Best Authentic Restaurants in Prospect

This was my 2nd visit to Bistro Francais. I loved my experience so much the first time I visited with 2 of my girlfriends that I made this booking for my mother’s group girls dinner. On my 1st visit I ordered the bread with French butter which was underwhelming. I imagined the bread would have been warm and the French butter needed more salt. Last night all our meals were delicious. The ambience was great although some background French music would have been good. I loved the service, candles. Some of your smaller dishes should be turned into larger dishes I think. I look forward to my next visit perhaps with my husband next.

We had lunch here. This was our first time and we were quietly surprised. The food was very good. Very modern take on Vietnamese food. We recommend the open spring rolls we had the pork it was full of flavour and delicious. The chicken and the eggplant were very good. Our only negative was that that the restaurant was very cold. It was cold outside but there was no relief inside, a small negative. Overall we recommend and we will return. Thanks

Food was excellent as usual but the wine list is a disaster. If we wanted cheap wines we wouldn’t be dining at Shiki’s. The best wines were unavailable due to ordering issues and the only choices were in the $20 dollar range from the local liquor store. Need to offer premium wines and make sure they are available. Overall the food was excellent, service was excellent but the lack of quality Red wines let the experience short of our expectations. We have been dining at Shiki’s for over 25 years and this is the first time we have been disappointed. Hopefully management listen and update the wine list with quality wines.

had a great lunch at basilico prospect! the food was full of flavour, portions were generous, and the wood-fired pizza was a standout. the service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed – perfect for a weekend lunch. will definitely be back!
