Our server was extremely friendly and recognized that we had been there before. Unexpected find on the wine list was perfect for date night. The Brisket Poutine and the Pancetta Mac & Cheese are to die for! We live nearby and will definitely be back (often)!

Disappointed- food totally over done. Service was great but the Kitchen seemed to be having an off night. .

From start to finish, everything was lovely. From the service to the food, ESPECUALLY THE CRABCAKES. The service attendant checked on my party often and the ambience was perfect. You can go there for a date, family or just an outing. I will be going again this weekend. The only thing I wasn't fond of were the collard greens. They weren't bad at all, just not my type of flavor.

Some of the best food in the area! Troy, the bartender, makes a killer Manhattan. Always great service, the whole team is super friendly. If available, the Prime rib is a must try. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing experience, great food and service!

Got the wrong order - the chicken sandwich is very very spicy. Also found two long thyme stalks in my onion soup, which was tasty until that. While the wait staff was very attention, with these two issues, was not a great first dining experience.

The service was great, as usual. Our server was so sweet and always checking in on us. The food was amazing and came out in perfect time!

The food was delicious and the portions were exactly right, but the service left something to be desired. They only had one waitress (who it was apparent didn't want to be there) and they had cooks running food. It was a significant lag time for them to serve us, and they only had 5-7 tables total for brunch. I'm sure they were understaffed so I won't hold it too much against them, and the food is delicious overall.

Food was decent but not extraordinary or something to rave about. Lemonade is made in house but was tart and bitter. Crab cake was nothing like a MD crab cake (hit or miss in DC) but definitely lump crab. The new hot chicken sandwich was pretty good. And service was delightful! I would recommend this place and come back again!

We’ve always had efficient and friendly service. They have a delicious pulled pork salad, but must try the Kahlua Pig Rolls. Nice neighborhood restaurant!

Great local restaurant with amazing service! The wine list is extensive and well priced. We enjoyed socially distanced dinner but have also enjoyed take out. Great!

It was fine. Nothing spectacular. About 10 % overpriced given the quality of food. Would eat there again but not for a special occasion. Main thought on way home: I really miss Rays the Steaks.

The drinks are great and so are the people. Good atmosphere and you cannot beat the prime rib!

Hadn't been to Epic in a while and decided to go for Valentine's Day. They were handing out red roses and the special was a surf & turf, which was excellent. Their wine list is one of the best in the area and we also love their baby back ribs.

It was great! The food was delicious and the service was excellent - especially on a busy Valentine's Day.

We had been meaning to try Epic for several years and it just never worked out until friends came to town. The food was 4 1/2 stars. I did think the portions for sides were inconsistent. The Mac & Cheese side (delicious!!) was just slightly too small to be considered a shared side. The coleslaw though could have feed 4. As a person with a wheat allergy (and multiple others) I would also have liked to have seen a notation of what was/wasn’t gluten free. They wait staff was good about answering questions and switching a Mac & Cheese side for another side choice. The restaurant is nicely laid out especially considering the footprint they have to work with. We will definitely go back and will recommend it to out of town business guests we know.

The food was very good and our party of three each enjoyed our meals. Our server ( I believe his name was James) was average; however, the manager on duty did stop by to check on us. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Epic Smokehouse!

Tempted to say Epic! But all kidding aside from the very sweet waitress who was great to the ribs the whole meal was great. I had a salad with added avocado which was good then the ribs which were also good. Oh i had asparagus as a side and they were good! All in all a great place. Parking right across the street too! I would definitely recommend going.

The food was only OK. Chose from the Special menu for restaurant Week and was underwhelmed. The purpose of the event is to showcase food and drive new business. Didn’t work. Ribs and fries looked great but lacked flavor. Appetizer of wonton pork tastes “off”. Desert of key lime pie was simple and sweet.
