A place for tourists with a good view, everything drowned in butter with a lack of engagement from the staff. Oysters were good, stick with those!!
I had 2-3 extremely fishy oysters but they quickly accommodated with the smaller sweeter variety. The $90 raw plate was delicious.
Our server was exceptional. he was well versed in all the menu items, in particular all the types of oysters. He was attentive without being obtrusive.
Great food, great service, great location. We visited twice on the last trip and each visit was perfect. Must visit for anyone who likes/ loves oysters.
We had a 4 p.m. reservation last weekend at Elliott's because we were part of a group of entertainers for the Argosy Christmas Cruise and had to board early. We had a table for 4 reserved; my husband and I arrived at 3:30. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, and we asked to be seated at our table while we waited for the other two people in our party. We were told that we could only have a table IF we were ordering from the lunch menu which ended at 4 p.m. We said we didn't know if our friends would arrive before 4, so we weren't sure if we would be using the lunch or dinner menus. We were told that we had to sit at the bar to wait if we weren't ordering from the lunch menu. I told the two greeters at the door that my elderly husband had a bad back and could not sit comfortable on a backless bar stool even for a short period of time. They repeated that they could not seat us at a table until 4 unless we ordered lunch. That was the beginning of our experience; unfortunately, it only got worse. Once we were seated at precisely 4 p.m., it took an extended time to receive water, our drinks, and to order. 45 minutes passed and our dinner still had not been served; time was ticking for us. We finally flagged down our waiter. She told us that she would check on our order. In another 10 minutes, a manager came out to tell us our order had been lost, but they were expediting it. The order arrived within another 10 minutes with the help of another manager. The 2 plates of linguini were quickly heated angel hair spaghetti, the shrimp were not fully pealed, and the salmon scorched while the accompanying raw vegetables browned under a broiler. While delivering the dinner, the manager apologized profusely and told us we would not be charged for our late and inedible dinner, which we appreciated. But we will never return to Elliott's while on the pier in our city. Like it told the manager, he has much competition, and we have many other options in our Seattle.
Wonderful food and service
Before coming to Seattle from Korea, I have read the review of the restaurant and it definitely recommended to visit here. It was never hard to park after 8PM. The place was cool and the food was REALLY good.
Elliott’s is my favorite place to dine! The staff couldn’t be more attentive or friendly. Oysters ! Oysters! Everything served is outstanding!!
We went there for our first anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint! The service, food, ambiance... all exactly what we had hoped!
Charles, our waiter, went above and beyond giving us fabulous service. I had the cashew crusted Ling Cod. It was to die for. My friend had King Salmon that was excellent! The oyster appetizer and clam chowder rounded out an excellent meal with excellent service!
Atmosphere and the staff are 5 stars! Seafood pasta not so good, gummy, no fresh flavor to it.
Even though I had made reservations well in advance, we had to wait and eventually were seated at a very location. The person who seated us was not cordial nor gracious. My entire party got sick immediately after dinner. The waiter was kind and provided good service.
Truly exceptional service and the variety of oysters are incredible for all type of palates
Always great food at Elliot's. We had oysters and the seafood trio. For my main I had scallops with mushroom pumpkin risotto. Very nice
The potatoes and brussel sprouts were undercooked.
It is the third time to go to here.I feel everything is good.
Everything was great.
Cioppino was very good, King crap legs were amazing!!!! Shrimp and lobster dip was delicious.
Can’t wait to return.
Server was very lovely too.
Cherry on top over all experience, highly recommend to all.
Delicious food and beautiful location. Our server was very helpful and informative
Great service and food. Took advantage of the Harvest deal. We’ll definitely be back!
Elliott’s is generally thought of as a place for tourists, but that is underrating them. Food and service were great. The 4 for 2 coupon didn’t hurt!
Really enjoyed my experience at Elliott's. Both the food and service was excellent. Would highly recommend if you're in Seattle and looking for great seafood.
This is the place the locals go!
The king crab salad was a let down. Instead of a piece of king crab as most king crab salads would come, it was shredded crab mixed into the salad. The crunchy wasabi peas were an interesting addition to the salad but I feel as it the flavors and texture didn’t blend well. The potatoes in the chowder (as well as in the mixed vegetables) weren’t cooked thoroughly. The lobster Mac and cheese wasn’t worth the splurge, easiest the most disappointing lobster Mac n cheese I’ve ever had. The salmon was dry and the presentation looked unappetizing. The oysters were good and that’s why I added an extra star. Probably received high ratings because of location in a super touristy area. Not worth it. The server never asked how anything was, she probably already knew the answer.
Great selections, fresh seafood. Amazing oysters!
Very classic ambience in a an excellent location. Wonderful place to go in Seattle right on the water, beautiful in the evening.
While on the pier and in the touristy part of Seattle- Elliots is a must- the food is amazing and the service is above and beyond !
Oysters not cleaned properly, great service staff. Appetizer sampler was poorly executed, the flavors did not go well together, got tired of the plates half way through, nothing special. The oysters were okay, the vinegar sorbet that comes with it was tasty but nothing special. Overall not great, would not really recommend
Ordered the Appetizer Trio; the dip and calamari were great but the crab cakes were dry and flavorless, falling apart upon delivery. The oysters as usual were great. House salad was paired with Lobster mac the salad required more dressing and perhaps a wilting of the kale as it took dedication to finish, and the risotto's rice was overly starchy, the pumpkin diced instead of pureed as I would prepare at home, thus not as flavorful as possible, while grilled scallops needed a harder sear and were just done. Thus the combination of below with above standard results for just three stars for food. Service was outstanding as usual. We live on Oregon coast and visit Elliott's every time we visit Seattle, which is 3-4 times/year. And as you might guess, I'm a retired chef/restauranteur and catch my own fish, so I'm a tough judge. This was the 20th or thereabouts visit to Elliott's for us, and we'll certainly return. I usually don't bother to critique because I've little to say. This time, however, the glitches needed reporting. I'm smoking ducks for Thanksgiving. Happy Holiday wishes for Elliott's staff!!
Food and service were excellent
Wonderful food. Beautiful setting. Awesome oysters!
Our dinner at Elliots ranks as one of the worst meals I have had in my life. Service was not good what was worse was the food. I ordered halibut and it was raw and had an odd taste. We got oysters but had to wait 10 minutes and give two reminders to bring cocktail sauce. I felt quite ill for about 24 hours.
Good service great food
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was exceptional and the food quality and quantity was perfect.
If you like oysters they have a wide selection, if you order anything else it’s hit or miss. Ordered salmon and grilled vegetables (the vegetables were so raw I couldn’t get a fork into them)
Worst meal ever! This is not the same place it use to be as far as food and service goes.
First of all, our waiter was friendly and polite. We all know they have to be. Their tip depends on it.
BUT...service for our table was extremely slow. Almost a 5 minute wait just to order a drink or appetizer.
After approx. 8 minutes, we got to order dinner. I had scallops that were only cooked on side and almost raw in the middle. The scallops were on top a serving of Polenta that was gummy, sticky and sour tasting.
My wife had a Ceaser salad that had to much dressing on it and an appetizer of crab cakes that were OK.
All in all...my dinner SUCKED! This is NOT the Elliott's it used to be. So sorry!!!
Good gluten free selection. Dairy free was hard but they were able to accommodate.
This was pretty disappointing. The service was lacking. The food was ok but over hyped.
The oysters were the shining star of the restaurant. Would not recommend.
This was Our first meal in Seattle. I was so excited about going to Elliotts. Good crab legs are hard to find anymore. We ordered what I plan to order the whole time I got the king crab legs and my wife got the snow. The quality of the crab legs was good especially the king. But for 78 bucks you would think I would get drawn butter with my meal. I got regular butter with the Milk fat still in it. When I mention this to my waitress she told me that was normal. Crab legs are my favorite thing in this world to eat and that’s not normal. It’s the second time in my life that I was served butter with the milk fat not separated. It’s an easy process I have done this many times myself you take unsalted butter you boil it and the drone butter and milk that will separate. I canceled my Reservations for Sunday.
The waiting time was long despite prior reservation. The staffs made us comfortable by offering complimentary appetisers :)
The food was excellent and we didn’t expect it to be so good for a restaurant on the harbor.
We had a reservation but were placed at a table in a section that was just opened up even though there were tables available in the main dining area. It was freezing in there so it made the meal almost intolerable. People who were seated long after us complained and apparently a heater was turned on. It wasn't noticeably better by the time we left. Wine was way overpriced, but the service was good (except for where they chose to seat us) and the food was great.
