The ambience speaks for it's self. We got the privilege to be seated right next to fountain and it was breathtaking. Felt like we were sitting in a Piazza. We started our meal with the burrata appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly crispy, complementing the fresh, high-quality ingredients beautifully. For our entrées, we had the charred ribeye—one of the best steaks I’ve ever had—cooked to perfection with incredible flavor. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich, which was crispy, juicy, and satisfying, paired with creamy mashed potatoes and perfectly seasoned fries. To finish, we indulged in the butterscotch brûlée, which was rich, silky, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The drip coffee and chai tea latte were the perfect pairings, rounding out an exceptional dining experience. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and we loved every bite!

For it to be very busy, likely at capacity, the staff managed well. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, overall. I love that they have a dedicated vegan menu. The Vegan Emerald Gyoza was my favorite! The Honey Bourbon Sesame Tindle sandwich was super creative and tasty! We enjoyed the vegan Buddha’s Garden sushi roll. The yuzu orange sauce was the only thing that wasn’t exciting in flavor. We will definitely return for the gyozas and to try some other menu items!

Supremely Asian American. Eastern cooking technique.

Taking inspiration from the night markets of Asia and his Korean-American childhood, Chef Edward Kim pairs eastern cooking techniques with Chicago ingredients to create umami-laden flavors, juxtaposing tastes and textures for a wildly exciting menu. A festive and lively dining scene is anchored by a well-lauded bar program and an open pantry, inviting our guests further into the kitchen experience. Great date night spot! We really enjoyed the lively atmosphere, the service was prompt but not overbearing, food came out super quick but was spaced out enough to give us time to finish the previous dish. Drinks were pretty good. I would highly recommend the short rib and fire chicken. We will definitely back as we hop to try both cabbage options, the steak kalbi, and the famous Mott St. burger.

Came in on Valentine's Day weekend. My wife and I ordered from the special Valentine's Day menu and everything was great. I did upcharge for the aged NY Strip which was cooked perfectly. I think they cook the steaks sous vide then sear based on how it's presented. I ordered old fashioneds and our waitress Ashley had great knowledge of the bourbon that they carried which was appreciated. Anna Agosta was the live performance who was great. The overall experience was great, and memorable so much that I think I want every dinner to have a talented live act. Only criticism was the steak knives...they were pretty dull. They might benefit if they switched to a serrated edged that doesn't need to be maintained as often. I didn't notice it as much on my NY Strip bc it came sliced however my wife's tenderloin wasn't and she struggled a bit. The cuts of meat presented very nicely it was unfortunate that the steak had to be torn apart to be consumed. We had such a great time and were well entertained with the burlesque show with Ruby Spencer, that we would gladly return.
