Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Dublin's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
My wife and I had dinner here on a busy Tuesday evening. We opted for the tasting menu which consisted of lots of small tasty dishes suitable for sharing. Delicious crab and salmon bruschetta, arancini, butternut squash tortellini and Piri Piri chicken to name but a few. Each dish was more delicious than the next with excellent flavour pairings. The service was excellent, our water carafe replaced several times. We loved Host and look forward to many future visits. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Salt's name comes its Salthill locale - which itself was derived from salt works that were once here - plus the nearby sea and, of course, the seasoning. Our Head Chef is Mark McGillycuddy who previously worked in Michelin-starred Mint in Ranelagh. Menus are fresh and interesting (see below), with plenty of appetizing salads and lighter lunch dishes, reasonably priced for the casual mid-week crowd. More
