The bright and airy first floor dining room is a really comfortable space to relax and enjoy lunch or dinner and a glass or two of fine wine. We use locally sourced, seasonal produce where possible combined with the very best Italian ingredients to create a menu that is modern and unique. We consider ourselves a contemporary Irish restaurant with an Italian influence.
Had the pavola and it was overcooked and ice cream tasteless otherwise fab meal
The only reason I wouldn’t recommend it, is because it was so incredibly loud we had hard time hearing each other. When I went on the website it said, dublins best kept secret, the balcony, so we requested a table on the balcony, it was like overlooking a club, way too loud, we could feel the vibration on the floor. Food was absolutely amazing and service on point, but please do something about the volume of the bar downstairs.
Enjoyed a lovely meal in the Drury Buildings. We were upstairs in the restaurant and sat in the outdoor area. The pre-theater menu had some lovely options. Really enjoyed ourselves and had a fantastic time. Looking forward to going back sometime soon.
Great for a birthday party
4 of us went for an early dinner. We were seated near to the cloakroom door, there was a draught due to this door been open to let people from upstairs access main stairs. Food overall was good, although the starter of tomatoes and mozzarella was too cold. Service was good, would recommend Drury buildings for an enjoyable night out.
Love this place. Its one of my favourites and I cant resist the Mozzarella and Tomato starter, it's THEE best. Our waiter was great and he recommended a wine that wasn't expensive but really good. We sat outside on the terrace area which has great ambience and has a lovely outdoors feeling, but its a pity that smoke rises! Cant really be avoided but the smoking area below it does create a 'smoking' atmosphere on the terrace. It probably smoking out there too but not great when you are eating. Otherwise, highly recommend this place.
A very dinner out in Dublin. The food and ambiance were both excellent and the service wasn’t bad but just a off at times compared to the rest.
We were there on Saturday night, we had pre booked a table. We ordered three cheese fondues to start, the waitress told us they only had two left. We ordered plaice and sea bass for main course, the waitress came back to say they had no fish left! Also the Gambas I had for a starter weren’t hot when they were served. Food was very average. We didn’t order any dessert. The table staff were very nice but weren’t very efficient. Very disappointing all in all.
We were there for lunch and REALLY enjoyed the lite bites (Tapas style). The mains were average, sort of disappointing after such FAB starts. Service was great, atmosphere lively and loud.
The pre theatre menu was smaller than the online version. We had little choice and ended up ordering from al a carte which worked out expensive. The craft beers were really expensive. The pork belly dish was not up to expectations.
Nice spot for a group dinner. Great pre theatre menu although it was limited it suited us perfectly
Wonderful evening dining with a group of friends. The staff remembered us from past visit and welcomed back. Food was lovely and service was excellent. We will be back.
Had a Lovely evening at Drury buildings. It was my girlfriends birthday and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Good job guys. Thanks for the lovely evening. Will be back soon.
I have been to The restaurant at Drury buildings a few times now and it has been consistently good. We have always been impressed by the food and the consistency of service over a number of visits is a testament to the staff. Will definitely return for more.
Great pork belly. Excellent service. Every meal at the table was superb!
Got the prawn linguine. Amazing linguine but only 5 prawns in the dish in total. My friend got the hake & it was amazing.
Food was excellent as was the service, had a lovely table upstairs, we weren’t rushed and were able to relax.
We had reservations but were having trouble finding our way around. We called them and the staff was very patient in helping us find our way to the restaurant. The exterior is funky looking, with a lot of bright colors. Once inside, the decor and ambiance were calm and inviting. The food was a little more expensive than some other places in Dublin, but the portions were good sized. The flavor was excellent and the quality superb. We would definitely dine here again! Well worth searching out.
The meal was absolutely delicious. Simple, well prepared, high quality ingredients with amazing flavour. Attentive service, gorgeous interior. It was a bit quiet the night we were there, but the atmosphere was still nice.
Good value and really enjoyed everything- warm evening but seated by window so views down fade street! All very pleasant - thanks guys!
Lovely Restaurant with fantastic food! We had booked for a Birthday and were not disappointed. We had a bottle of Pino Grigio, the Hake, Seabass and Steak all cooked to perfection. Delicious desserts a stand out was the Chocolate Fondant decadent and divine. Would definitely eat there again. Perfect for a special occasion or nice date night.
I met a friend for dinner and a catch up. We got a lovely seat on the balcony outside. There was a nice buzz of noise from other people but not too loud and the music wasn't loud. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic.
This really is a gem of a place! Superb food at bistro type prices and fine dining service levels. Highly recommend.
Steak and chips was €34.50 and was the fattiest steak I’ve ever had. I’ve been before and had a lovely pasta dish but the steak was terrible value for money. The three of us ordered it and none of us even finished half of the meal.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening Food is great, the place looks lovely, the staff are brilliant .., in particular Diana. We’ll be back.
Always a great experience. Food is fab, staff are so friendly - and very accommodating if your party size changes. Highly recommend the delicious and generous sized meat and cheese sharing plate - perfect to enjoy with a glass of prosecco in the sunshine.
Beautiful meal here again. Staff were super, very friendly waitress. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. 👍🏻
Set lunches are really worth while! Good food, nice ambience, great location
Really great service: Super friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere. Great food and wine selection.
Very good service and great atmosphere. Would recommend for special occasion.
It’s a shame there isn’t a non-smoking area outside, as outside section looks great, but far too smokey for 2019!
Saturday evening - had set menu - great food and everyone agreed it was good value.
Very relaxing and great place for brunch. Loved those mimosas as well. Great
2nd visit for me. We were party of 7. The main courses were very disappointing. On early bird only fish was bony skate. The polenta main was lacking flavour. 2 of the 5 deserts were not available.
We were sitting on the terrace and people next to our table were smoking and it wasn't nice to chew the food with the smell of cigarette smoke in your nose.
Also, a group of screaming gals were sitting on the other side of our table so we eventually had to leave because we weren't able to hear ourselves talk. This definitely isn't the restaurant's problem and my scoring wasn't affected by this but the waiters should've said something because we weren't the only ones who left because of them.
I'd recommend to friends as we have had fab food here on previous occasions. Service is great, staff are lovely. We were just a little disappointed with food this time. I had lovely baked fish, top lovely, underside was oily though, served with lovely samphire. My husband had rigatoni.... pasta was just too thick, kinda ruined the delicacy of prawn bisque. Little short on prawns too.
From the start this was the perfect place to kick off our first time in Dublin. The place had everything from exceptional service, great ambience and the food/drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend this stop for any visitor.
Overall really nice but the menu which was online was different to the menu that is offered which was a shame!
It was really nice to have a pre-theatre dinner there, if the braised rabbit leg could be roasted longer to get a deeper flavour, all other things were great!
Starter read “Gubeen with salami”. No cheese evident on the plate. Main dish was pasta with “pulled beef cheek” which was about 5% meat and the rest small chunks of fat all for a not insignicant price of €25.
Despite this disappointment the cocktail was excellent.
This is my second time here and I was again really happy with the food. It’s high quality, flavourful and the prix fixe menu is excellent value. What was disappointing was the service. It was unnecessarily slow considering the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. However, I would still recommend this restaurant.
