The atmosphere is a bit noisy but thats the only slight annoyance of this excellent restaurant. The choices on the menu are deceptive in that it doesn't really tell the story as far as the way it is prepared and presented. Exciting flavors and creative presentations were standard features. The prices are significantly less than expected for the quality.
Booked for my wife’s birthday both said best dining experience we have had
Everything was amazing from atmosphere, service and food were superb!
Had the 4 course offer. Food was very good although we had to wait over an hour between out first and second course. Wine list extensive but on the pricey side - as you would expect in a luxury 5 star hotel.
This is by far the best food experience I’ve ever had in my life... The meat fruit will be remembered forever!!
we have been on quite a few occasions and enjoy the experience and food every time.
If I wanted to be very critical then the food could have been a little bit warmer but this is very personal preference.
We asked for a nice table overlooking the park and the team were very accommodating and to be honest made us feel as if we were very special.
Look forward to visiting again
I have booked this dinner for my parents and they have showed great service to my parents and provided a perfect day.
I was able to pay in advance with their system and was able to send a little messege at the end they loved the dinner thank you
Amazing- best dining experience. Food and service was extraordinary.
Great experience, amazing food, but a little messy place - noisy.
Wonderful lunch with really nice service. All beautiful
Everything was amazing
Having visited Dinner again, I am somewhat disappointed that the taste of the food and hence can only be rated fair. Perhaps the adoption of recipes from a time gone by is putting too high a constraint on adjusting the taste of the meal? The location continues to be brilliant though.
This was our second visit to Dinner. We were in London from Sydney for a few days and wouldn't miss eating here. The food and wine were fabulous and served in a relaxed quiet atmosphere.
The staff were attentive and friendly. It is a great dining experience and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine dining.
Overall we found the experience disappointing for the reputation it has.
There are far too many tables crammed in to the dining room compared to the MO of old resulting in high noise levels.
We had 3 different Someliers during the course of dinner and towards the end watched the kitchen staff cleaning the floor with a mop....
The signature desert dish was not at all memorable
Opulent surroundings, great service and wonderful wine list. Well worth a visit.
Food and service worth the price!
Service and food were faultless as usual.
Even though you can see the common things with The Fat Duck, it is still an exceptional restaurant with great food and service! The ice cream (made in front of you) should not be missed no matter how full you are and you should leave some space for it...!
Precisely Perfect. Marvellously Wonderful.
Lovely lunch - son enjoyed the snails I wasn’t so brave !
We arrived for this special birthday occasion unfortunately on one of the busiest days in London due to Pride and a concert at Hyde Park. Celine Dion was staying at The Mandarin Oriental so there was a mob of 50 people outside who were blocking the entrance on the hotel waiting to catch a glimpse which was very overwhelming. It wasn't exactly the glamorous welcome you'd expect. I wouldn't recommend cocktails in the Mandarin bar beforehand as £36 for two Negronis just doesn't feel worthwhile (they are the same as any Negroni I have had anywhere else). We were shown to a lovely table overlooking the park and our waiters were all friendly, informed and service was great. We opted for the 4 courses with glass of rose champagne and the selection was delicious. The meat fruit starter is incredible!!! There was a big crowd at the back of the restaurant also waiting to take photos of Celine Dion (who we did see out of the window in the end) but somehow that did make the ambience of the experience feel a little bit cheapened. On the whole we did not enjoy the hotel atmosphere at all, a little bit soulless, a 5 minute maze-like walk to get to the toilets and crowds of weird super fans outside. Saying that, its still probably worth going to taste the delicious food!
Very beautiful and thoughtful meal, with excellent service
Friendly service... great service...the rib-eye steak was huge...
Flavor combination is remarkable. Still, the price is mesmerizing.
Proteins are not a particular strength of the restaurant; rather, the vegetables are foregrounded in various interesting preparations.
The menu is a bit rigid, tho it is difficult to remove from the menu several signature dishes (such as the mediocre meat fruit and the unimpressive powdered duck).
The food was exceptional. The service was good but there was an obvious difference between those on the set menu and those choosing a la carte which I haven’t experienced at other top restaurants. It’s not that the £95 a head set menu is a cheap
The ambience was very hotel-like but we did have an early table.
The food speaks fir itself and we would go back on that basis
Perfect restaurant. Wow!
Faboulous food and service.
Very expensive. Looks like a hotel restaurant, could certainly take lengths to feel more unique and special. I also requested a candle with dessert since it was a friend’s birthday and they forgot this detail. Overall would not particularly recommend unless you’re staying at the Mandarin. Definitely not worth a detour, London has much better to offer.
They were so nice they gave us a complimentary tatre to finnish off, for my brother’s birthday
Service was bad
Very disappointed, so far my worst Michelin star restaurant experience. Menu and the whole ambience felt like we were dining in a hotel cafe. Had a lovely lunch today at The Ledbury, which had much better food and service, just a cut above....
Glad I tried but wasn’t over impressed with service, food or ambience. Also didn’t like way that waiter suggested ‘maybe you would like a glass of sparkling wine or champagne asan aperitif’. I chose the sparkling wine as we only popped in for a quick casual lunch only to find that the sparkling wine was a lot more expensive than the champagne. Not the cost that concerns me but the way it was done felt sneaky. Also wine wasn’t very chilled and the sommelier kept pouring huge glasses of wine - pretty sure he was trying to get us to purchase another bottle.
Jaw dropping. Must eat.
lovely dinner, good service
Fantastic food and service. Expensive but worth it.
The flagship Meat Fruit and Tipsy cake were eccellent and what you would expect from Heston. However, the rest of the menu and mains are quite standard, but good.
This is the third time we have eaten here. It still does not disappoint
Staff were really knowledgable about how the dishes are prepared and who the suppliers are.
Well done to all.
The food is very good but not as creative as i was hoping it would be. We waited a very long time between starter and main. Staff was pleasant.
