My family and I rarely have open days where we. An meet for lunch and rarely can come to a consensus as to where to meet. Sugar River Pizza seems however to be our go to. Always great food, excellent service, and great atmosphere. We tried two brunch pizzas and were impressed and really enjoyed them. We also had the hummus platter and really liked that. Maybe some more na'an next time.

Established in 2008, the namesake is Transfer Pharmacy, a classic cornerstone drugstore from a bygone era that for decades supplied a thriving community with goods and services as evidenced by the stained glass windows still in place. The pharmacy was appropriately named for the constant activity that took place just outside - the boarding, departures, and transfers of the countless daily commuters of the time. The tradition of a reliable cornerstone establishment continues today, as Transfer Pizzeria delivers a unique dose of delicious pizza, drink, atmosphere, and friendly service.

We keep an active wait-list and gladly accommodate walk-ins as part of both our lunch and dinner service.

The beef cheeks bourguignon is excellent. Full of flavor and the right amount of food. Madison, the bartender, very friendly and knowledgeable. Carlton, our server, attentive and funny as well. A great experience with a lake view.

Really great experience, the ambiance of the restaurant is very pleasant. The live music was nice, too - added to dining experience without being too loud. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive and had excellent knowledge of the wines and menu. We all ordered the specials and the food was very high quality with absurdly generous portions. We will definitely be back!

My second time here in a month’s time! First was with girlfriends, last night with family where I got adventurous and tried the rabbit. We all did and it was tasty. The pistachio arugula salad was a larger portion than anticipated. It was delicious and so fresh. The beef empanadas were a hit! We ordered a second. You can’t go wrong with the Argentinian Beef. Other dishes we tried were the Kung Pao Beef - veggies were tender not soggy and the sauce was brothy versus thick like our neighborhood Chinese restaurant. We will add this to our rotation of restaurants!
