About the restaurant

Chef AZEUCHI trained in the art of Kaiseki Course cuisine in Japan for 16 years. Upon graduating
culinary school, he began studying Kaiseki Course at a hotel. When he turned 27, he became sous-
chef at Hotel Nogamiya.
While there, he participated in a Tokushima Culinary Contest, where he won first prize. When he
was 35 years old, he joined Tofu Kaiseki Restaurant as their head chef.
During this time, he also studied French cuisine for 3 years, training under a Head Chef who had on-
the-job experience working in a prestigious French fine dining restaurant.
Chef Azeuchi quickly became the sous chef in the restaurant. When Japanese Crown Prince
Naruhito - now known as
"His Imperial Majesty the Emperor"- made a royal visit to Kagawa Prefecture, Chef Azeuchi
entertained him with his beautiful dishes.

Exceptional food and service. And we were all delighted at the pricing…a downright bargain compared to the Strip. We enjoyed the bread basket, salad of the day (arugula and pear), chicken parm, and the pork chop…which was a real show stopper. I can’t wait to go back, it was an amazing meal and experience.

We did the tasting menu. It was a good price for 7 courses. We liked all the courses, some more than others, like the scallops. They were so good! We will be back to order a la carte the dishes we liked the most.

Everyone was so welcoming. Adidas was very attentive. The menu was wonderful and quite unique. We shared black cod and brussel sprouts and it was the perfect combination and portions. We will definitely be back. Perfect food for gathering with friends and lovely surroundings. Right in Summerlin!
