Great hand roll place. These have been popping up lately. Very similar to Kiro. Not as stuffy but great quality. We really enjoyed it.

Food excellent as always. Only negative critique is waiting 45+ minutes past our reservation time to be seated (on a Tuesday night) without so much as an apology or offer of a free drink/roll for the inconvenience. First time this has happened, but disappointing.

As usual, the food and service were outstanding. I always thought the rack of lamb was the best I have ever had but John outdid himself this time. Perfectly cooked. Irena also outdid herself on her apple pie. The steak also gets rave review from our group. Let John decide the best temperature for the entrees. You will not find better service. The prices are very good compared to other high end restaurants in town. Not pretentious. The venue is BYOB with no corkage fee on Wednesday. Even so, the corkage fee on other days is very reasonable. Lucio's is as good as it gets.

Chefs Patrick Pham and Daniel Lee have over 25 years of combined experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi. They established their culinary careers in Houston where they worked together for years before creating their own restaurants.

Pham and Lee teamed up to bring new curated dining concepts to Houston’s food scene and kicked off a series of omakase pop-up dinners called Secret Taste. Pham and Lee then opened Kokoro in the Bravery Chef Hall in Downtown Houston followed by Handies Douzo in the Houston Heights.

Aiko is the newest concept from the team featuring a sushi bar and seated dining.

I absolutely live this place!! The staff is so incredibly kind and attentive, the chefs are hilarious and so talented, and the food is always delicious and extremely fresh! I have never had a bad experience here, everything is always 10/10
