Baekjeong literally means butcher in Korean which is a name we hold proud of.
We proudly serve only the finest cuts of Premium Alberta Sterling Silver meat which prepared by 15 years experienced butcher. Every table features a built-in grill (use gas) to allow you to dine at your own table.

All meat orders are accompanied by bottomless Korean style salads and vegetables. Combo meals have a choice of either soybean paste soup, kimchi stew, steamed eggs, soft-tofu soup or corn cheese.
Our relaxing atmosphere and juicy dishes make Baekjeong a perfect place to hold all kinds of parties and gatherings. Please reserve a spot a head of time for parties of eight or more.

Excellent menu and the food is wonderful. I was sad to find out one of my favourite appys was rotated out of the menu. Hope they will put the lamb Flatbread back. Our server, Sarah, was great, personable and knowledgeable of the menu. It was nice they remembered me from my first visit.

Chef Carlos grew up in Mexico City in a food culture as diverse and unique as any in the world. After leaving Mexico when he was 19, he spent many years working in kitchens across the US and discovering his passion for creating food that everyone can enjoy.
Hard work and dedication through his training at La Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute landed him a highly coveted gig at a Michelin-starred restaurant in California before he finally made his way to Canada.
In Edmonton, Chef Carlos and his business partner - Janette, started the Casa12Doce food truck. Set up for many years, Casa12Doce became not only a staple of the food truck scene but also of the community.
The delicious, authentic food created a following so loyal that when Chef Carlos and Janette decided to open a restaurant in 2016, it did not take long for the place to fill up regularly.

This was a good lunch experience, they made birria special for me since it wasn’t a normal menu item, which was appreciated. Everything was very good, but since i indicated in my booking that this was a birthday celebration, it would have been nice if it was acknowledged somehow. Otherwise what’s the point of being able to specify it in the booking? Still great, will be back. Spicy Rico marg was awesome.

When you join us for dinner, expect it to be a relaxing evening lasting a couple hours over several piatti (courses). Your table comes alive when we present a variety of large offerings on platters or bowls within easy reach of all.

A classic Italian pranzo (dinner) usually beings with a variety of antipasti (hot and cold appetizers), followed by one or two primi (usually a hot pasta, risotto, gnocchi or zuppa). Next your table will share a secondi (entrees) served on a platter combined with your choice of contorni (vegetable side dishes). Italians often complete their meal with un dolce, un caffe, or un digestivo (dessert, espresso, liqueur or grappa).
