Fabrik is the intersect of fine dining and mom & pop restaurant hosted in an intimate micro restaurant space. We offer a 5 and 7-Course tasting at 6pm, and a 7-Course tasting at 8:30pm Wed-Sun. Fabrik's current menu focuses on Japanese, Nordic, and Italian flavor profiles. Fabrik is 100% independently owned and operated.

Led by Executive Chef-Owner Je Wallerstein, Fabrik is Austin’s first 100-percent plant-based tasting restaurant featuring curated menus that highlight the seasonality and diversity of plant-based cuisine in an upscale, sophisticated setting. With sustainability as a priority in our approach, we source produce and ingredients from local growers and provisioners wherever possible. We offer an eclectic selection of vegan, biodynamic and organic wines, including an optional wine pairing. Fabrik also offers saké as well as a range of non-alcoholic options.

It's an amazing vegan tasting menu. The price is not out of line for what I'd normally expect a fancy tasting menu to be -- and the taste and quality are off the charts.

Lunch is served daily from 11am to 3 pm with counter service. Dinner begins daily at 5:00pm and is full table service. We are closed on Sundays.

House favorites include our Chinese Hack Chicken Salad and the famous Chicken Picatta .

Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole’s signature non-traditional take on Japanese food has delighted Austin’s diverse dining crowd as well as visitors from across the country and around the world since 2003. Reservations are encouraged and can be made up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in seating is limited to the Sushi Bar and is subject to wait times. The food was amazing! I had the Tlayuda and it was incredibly good. Our group LOVED the fundido, the risotto balls, the flautas, the shrimp tacos, pork belly. Will go again very soon.

I had the best first visit to Canje. The staff went out of their way to recognize my birthday, and it was neat to see how all the little touches come together to make a truly fantastic dining experience. The food is unique and inventive for Austin, and every dish we had was delicious and so well balanced. The menu is also quite dietary restriction friendly, and the staff top-notch. I already can’t wait to return.
