One of our favourite venues in the Hunter. The food is outstanding (please don’t change the menu), the wines are delicious, the ambience is extraordinary (especially at sunset) and the service is friendly/professional/perfect!

What a fantastic place. The music and vibe was just what I was looking for on my break up in the Hunter. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the wines I tried.

Unique and intimate experience, waited on personally by Chef Max. The food was exceptional, not since Scott St Cafe / Restaurant II have I felt the style & quality was of the highest level. Max obviously knows his wines, as his recommendations were spot on. A small, curated menu, to my preference, and I look forward to returning with like-minded friends who I hope will also enjoy this restaurant.

We had a great experience at Usher Tinkler wines. Our host Taylor was wonderful. Full of energy and knowledge of the wines and the winery. The top shelf wines also came with one off the charts charcuterie board. Beautiful fresh ingredients and a great mix of pickled and dried as well. Could not recommend this beautiful boutique winery more highly. Pop in and check it out for yourself. Oh, and we booked ahead.

We did Saltire’s Wine Cocktails tasting and really enjoyed it. We weren’t sure what to expect but wanted to try something new, and our server was lovely and we found the experience immensely good value for money. We liked that we were able to try the spirits and wine separately and then build our drink to our liking.
