Enjoyed the winter special - urchin hot pot! The soup was really tasty. Overall food was yums and special. Was also surprised with the little anniversary dessert treat.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Izakaya Chouchou. We chose the “Chef Feed Me” course, which delighted us with both its generous portions and exceptional flavors. The cuisine is a perfect fusion of Japanese and Western styles, offering a range of exciting and beautifully presented dishes. The sushi and sashimi platter was outstanding—fresh, vibrant, and artfully arranged. I especially loved the grilled eggplant, which had a beautifully crisp skin and soft, tender flesh. The dessert boat was both adorable and delicious, adding a playful and satisfying finish to the meal. Every course brought delightful surprises, making the entire dining experience truly joyful. The service was exceptional—the owner personally explained each dish with care and passion, helping us appreciate the thought and craft behind the food. A heartfelt touch was the birthday message for my son displayed on the wall, which made the evening feel even more special and warm. Food was good, however, the highlight was the customer service. I have allergies to nuts and seafood, and the staff (especially Edwin (I forgot the name sorry!) & the manager working at 5:15PM, 17/05/25) ensured i still had a good experience, going out of their way each time to double check any traces - this is quite rare in higher end restaurants from experience, as waiters/waitresses tend to selectively choose who to pay delicate attention to.

Everything was perfect. every dishes were incredible, all of staffs are very kind. Love this place
