Best Southern American Restaurants in Underwood Hills

Delicious brunch to celebrate our daughter’s birthday! We enjoyed everything: hush puppies appetizer, egg white omelette, 3 meat omelette, avocado toast, bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Potatoes and grits were excellent too. I don’t think there’s a wrong choice on the menu. Attentive service and lovely ambience. Will be back!

What a surprising brunch experience! My partner and I were looking for somewhere that seemed a little different than the usual eggs/meat/potatoes combination you can find in so many places, and this place was it. The space is beautiful, the service was wonderful, and the food was even better than it sounded on the menu. They had a good crowd, but even so the noise level was mild. They suggest making reservations, and I would do so, just to be sure you secure a seat. You'll be sad to have to miss out on this place!

The Thanksgiving menu was really good. The service and food was excellent.

Our Thanksgiving meal was excellent. My husband got the 3 course meal. He had the butternut squash soup for the appetizer, and turkey with dressing and sweet potato casserole as his main, and the fruit cobbler for dessert. I got 4 appetizers as my meal--the dip duo with pimento cheese and crab dip, fried green tomatoes, crab cake and the fry basket with shrimp and veggies. We each had some of everything we ordered and everything was extraordinarily tasty. I was definitely appreciative of being able to order the 4 appetizers as my entree as last year the waiter told us they couldn't do it. Our waiter Rick was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is great with a different Christmas tree in each area and a cozy fire going in the fireplace at the front entrance. We were made to feel welcome as we entered and wished a Happy Thanksgiving as we left. It was a busy day for them, but the service was. This is our 3rd Thanksgiving here, and we plan on coming again next year.

Our service was great! The drinks were amazing. Unfortunately they were out of two items I ordered so that resulted in getting something I wasn’t thrilled with.
