Excellent visit to The Ivy Harrogate. From the moment we entered to being seated at the bar to wait for our table all the way through to receiving the bill the service was top-notch. The quality of the wine even from the least expensive by glass was very good (a Portuguese Tinto). Highly recommended the Chouchoo Old Fashioned. The best part though was the food! Qualify, portion size and service. Cannot find anything to score it down from a five star service.

Lovely restaurant, food was very tasty, had Sunday lunch, dropped one star as it coukd have been a little hotter, but it was still fine. Plenty of vegetables came with the mains. Staff were very nice, blonde waitress was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Overall, a lovely afternoon.

Had the 4 course set menu and every dish was outstanding. The bread and chipolata to begin was outstanding and the truffle butter was delicious. The Halibut starter tasted zesty and fresh! The cod main was the best fish dish I’ve ever had and the fig leaf custard tart was stunning.
