Best Italian Restaurants in The Gramercy

It was a really wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I went during restaurant week and had the prix fix menu. Everything that was brought out was amazing and also a great portion size. The staff were all super professional, and the ambiance was lovely. 10/10 would go again.

It was restaurant week so we ordered off the special menu! What a treat. Tried things we ordinarily do not have and brought home plenty of leftovers. It was delicious!

This was our second time dining at Cantinetta Pizza and Pasta. We returned because we really enjoyed the food on our first visit, and once again the food and service were excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant is also very nice. That said, I do have a couple of suggestions. First, the happy hour ending at 5:00 PM feels a bit early — extending it until 6:00 PM would make it more appealing for dinner guests. Also, the beginning of our dinner was wonderful, but later in the evening a singer began performing for the restaurant. Unfortunately, the volume was so loud that we could no longer comfortably have a conversation at our table. I also felt the performance didn’t really fit the atmosphere we were expecting. Personally, I would have preferred softer background music rather than live entertainment that felt more like a concert. Overall, we still enjoyed our meal and appreciate the great food, service, and atmosphere.
