we ordered a variety of dishes which all were freshly prepared and delicious. The service was excellent and the ambiance reminiscent of a small restaurant in Lisbon. Highly recommended.

Had a reservation with their restaurant on 06/07/26 for 7pm but I arrived around 7:30 pm and they still welcomed me really well. I went straight to the restaurant and the setting was elegant and cosy. I wish I got the servers’ names, one gentleman and two ladies and they were all excellent. The man suggested great food such as their scallop appetiser and mashed potato as a side for my steak and all the food were delicious and well served. The lady servers were both pleasant and one even helped position my chair in a way I could conveniently watch football and offered to increase the volume of the telly which was really considerate. When I was about to pay, the man said the food was on the house, which was a great surprise and really appreciated. I asked if this was a perk for new members and the man said “no” which made it feel even more special. On top of that, I won in a slot machine that generously gave winning lines, guess it was my lucky night :). Superb experience overall and I would surely come back.

My wife and I liked our food very much. My well done steak frites was the best I have ever had. We ordered tea and a main meal. The tea came quickly but the meal took 50 minutes.

We were staying in the Sheraton Grand and planned a dinner here ahead of a rock show with one one of our all time favorite bands playing at a small club nearby. The food and service were fantastic and well paced. They hav a good selection of vegetarian items that were very flavorful (burrata, pear salad) and the tomato risotto was done perfectly. They also have a flavorful cocktail menu and a nice wine list. Mercante doubles as the Sheraton breakfast restaurant and it was awesome they were open every day until 11am for breakfast as this was a UK rock band extravaganza-type weekend. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the chef making made to order omelettes did a fantastic job. Not part of this specific reservation, but a hearty round of thanks to the entire team that served us dinner and working the breakfast through our stay. It made for an all around amazing long holiday weekend. Thanks!
