We’ve been eating here pretty much since it opened years ago. We visit about every 7 or 8 weeks. The food this visit was excellent as usual. The service was up to its usual standards, pleasant, efficient and competent. I worked in the wine industry my entire life and I enjoy the fact that they have one of my favorite everyday wines, Muscadet both by the glass and bottle. It goes great with the mussels I had for a main course. Restaurants tend to avoid this wine because customers confuse it with the sweet wine Moscato. Happy to see it.

Julii is one of our favorite restaurants. The meal we had yesterday was delicious. I ate the Lamb Tagine, which has always been a terrific dish and the new recipe made it even better. The service was excellent as always.

The combination of the food, front- and back-staff, physical ambience and quietness (if you want to make an observation about fellow diners, you really need to lower your voice -- and we have not heard a cellphone ignite in a fortuitous long time) and the overall experience. If this is not a NoVa gem, then try to account for the number of folks who make the "trek" to Great Falls...we do the 45 minute drive two to three times a month for the weekend lunch prix fixe.

Wonderful service, excellent food, perfect noise level so it was not silent but also not so loud it was a struggle to talk. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for and the experience is excellent.
