Best French American Restaurants in Indiana, Indianapolis

We were so impressed by this place! Cute and comfortable but not cliche or tacky decor, amazing food, and the most friendly staff. Great wine and cocktail list. Our entrees took a little long to come out, but the food was well worth the wait. The escargot appetizer was AMAZING, the shrimp pasta was incredible, as was the steak au poivre. Indy has had some pretty bad "French" restaurants, but this place was a welcome change/ surprise. I can't believe it's in a strip mall in Noblesville! Don't sleep on this place!!!

Here from Colorado visiting our son and daughter in-law and new grandson. I chose it due to location and high rating. The cocktails and food were excellent. I had the duck and my wife had the chicken. Really enjoyed it. The dessert was great, too. Forgot the name. It’s a puff pastry with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce on the side. I’d definitely recommend the restaurant and will return in the future.

Spoke & Steele, located in downtown Indianapolis, offers a dining experience that beautifully blend of modern design with upscale food. It sits at the base of the Le Meridien hotel. The restaurant features an extensive drink menu that will suite anyone’s pallet. We chose to start with the bread service which was killer especially the honey butter. All of the apps look d amazing but went for the dry rub duck wings with home made ranch. My only critic was I wish there were more than 3. Finished off with the shrimp and grits. Although, I wasn’t in New Orleans the spiciness took me back there. The wait staff was great. Even though we were late for the reservation we were seated promptly and had multiple people taking care of us. Spoke & Steele is a must if you are staying in the hotel but also if you want a cool vibe for drinks and great food I would stop by and take a look.
