Best European Restaurants in Walton-on-Thames

The food was amazing, service was the highest standard. We love this place and will be back. Also lunch prices were very reasonable and great value for the quality of food and service

The fixed price, Sunday Roast Menu, in these surroundings and with , very decent, live music has to be regarded as something of a bargain in this day and age. The main course portions are on the large side of generous - the meat, roast beef, in particular, but it was also the tastiest beef I have experienced in a long while. All of the food served here is perfectly cooked and of the best quality, last July we enjoyed a Sunday barbeque and it was as good...... ......Fourteen months on, we had the same, charming, waitress who recognised us, the musician was also the same gentleman as last time - clearly not only the customers appreciate the offering here at the Broolands Hotel. The downside of such a good starter - calamari - and voluminous main course, is that on neither occasion have we been able to manage a sweet, but I have every reason to expect them to be of the same quality as the rest of the food served here.

The food was delicious and it was great that we could get a carafe of wine rather than a whole bottle. The staff were very friendly. Music was really chilled and relaxing. The overall ambience was really pleasant and a perfect way to finish off our visit to the gardens.

I had a lovely dinner at The Ship Hotel on the 6th of January. Great food, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is very varied and offers something for everyone. Highly recommended.
