Outstanding! This is by far the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had.
Our server was so kind and gracious. I wasn’t familiar with some of the wines from Greece and Turkey, so she offered to let me sample them. She was generous with the pours, and I chose the Turkish red.
For an appetizer, we ordered the cabbage dolmas. Oh my gosh—they practically melted in my mouth. The flavors were incredible, and the fresh tomato sauce on top was rich and delicious.
For dinner, I had the braised lamb shank. I’ll admit I was hesitant because the lamb I’d tried before had a strong “lamby” flavor. This was to die for! The mashed potatoes were perfectly smooth, and the lamb was so tender the bone came right out. The accompanying broth added wonderful depth and richness.
Of all the places we’ve visited, this is by far one of the best meals we’ve had. Don’t let the restaurant’s unassuming, hole-in-the-wall appearance keep you from stopping in. The food is exceptional, the servers are warm and welcoming, and the chef even came out to chat with us. Put this place on your must-visit list!
