The staff was friendly and greeted us upon our entrance. We had never had absinthe and so our server, Shannon, gave us a quick tutorial. Based on her recommendation we went with the Nouvelle Orleans. We ordered the fried catfish and shrimp and grits. The portions were generous and the taste... wow! You definitely can't be on a diet but it's well worth the calories. The use of the antique absinthe fountain to prepare our absinthe drink just added to the experience.
