The food is very delicious- must eat include nasi ulam, classic popiah, i also enjoyed the buah keluak pork jowl, jantung pisang, and bakwan kepeting with abalone. We had cempedak creme brulee and pandan panna cotta. Both desserts were complimentary - creme brulee was foc because we ordered two soups. I was pleasantly surprised that the panna cotta was complimentary - we celebrated my friend’s birthday. Service was impeccable. Would definitely revisit.

The visit for my wife and me was our first, but we concluded at the end of the meal that it will NOT be our last. Table service was attentive, but not intrusive. Food was extremely pleasant on the taste buds, stimulating just the right sensations, accentuating a taste of freshness in the ingredients. We have already decided we will revisit soon, as we regularly host our friends to places worthy of our calories. UMM more than qualifies for such a place.

Stopped by ShisanYee Teahouse for a meal and was really impressed by the concept. They take familiar local flavours and reimagine them into thoughtful small plates and skewers meant for sharing. Everything we ordered—especially the Teochew Herbal Duck Congee—was packed with flavour. Pair your meal with one of their tea-inspired cocktails (we loved the Amber 13). Between the cosy, stylish interior and attentive service, it’s a great spot for catching up with friends over good food and drinks.
