Best Australian Restaurants in Alexandra Headland

A group of us have been going bi weekly for nearly 5 years as well as a group of teachers when we can. The food for seniors has gone downhill drastically. Calamari was dry and tasteless and the fish was just a large thawed tasteless fish finger type thing. We used to love getting the seniors fish and chips as it was always real fish that was battered . The salad was nicer before but now looks like leftover scraps from other people’s plates.Really insulting to seniors who still enjoy going out for a good meal. We have been going elsewhere lately as the food has been so disappointing. We used to recommend Brightwater to other people but won’t anymore Why has the quality of seniors meals taken such a drastic dive?C

Stunning food and great service and lovely ambience

Loved the table service. It was a busy evening but service at our table was flowed well and food arrive before the wait time advised.

Tuesday night Trivia (had no warning when booking) was VERY loud & rather disruptive to a birthday dinner. Meals were too large although we did take our leftovers home. Dylan (who seated us, took our orders & delivered our meals) was a pleasant surprise & needs to be commended for his friendliness, charisma & professionalism - don’t let that one go!

Friendly staff. They did get our order mixed up but were nice about it. The deck area was a bit dirty with piles of leaves and mud but I know the weather lately hasn’t been kind. Food was tasty so that’s what would make me go back, along with the lovely views of lake Kawana
