Best Asian Restaurants in Buchheim

Dined at Taku as an American tourist visiting Köln and staying at the Excelsior Hotel Ernst. Reserved a table for two at opening (1830hrs) and left at around 2145 to 2200hrs, so ensure you have adequate time. Booked the 6 course meal option with traditional wine pairing. We were greeted by the host immediately and sat down to wine options/beer/water. We received two complimentary appetizers which were good. The 6 dishes were delicious, albeit some were saltier than preferred. There were food items in the dishes that did complement and reduce the saltiness which made them more enjoyable. The wines were decent as well. The servers explained every meal and every wine that was presented. Overall experience is a 4/5.

Good sushi at a fair price. The staff was also very accommodating, letting us order from the dinner menu during lunchtime.

This was a truly exceptional dining experience on all fronts. The service was top-tier, the food was delicious and portioned perfectly, and it felt like an upscale dining experience, but without the stuffy or elitist vibe some places have. They knew it was my 50th birthday dinner and they truly made me feel special and celebrated. The view was fantastic even though it wasn’t as close as one may want to be. I would absolutely come back the next time. I travel here.
