Delighted to return to Cafe Berlin for a birthday dinner. Wonderful carrot soup - distinctive and delicious. Sauerbraten was well prepared. Chocolate cake a tasty finish along with excellent coffee and a cappuccino. The service was excellent, friendly and informative. Quiet at 5.15 but louder with families by 6.15.

There was a boisterous wine-tasting event going on in the front of the main dining room, so we were seated in a streetside “chalet”. Service remained excellent, and the venue made for a delightfully quiet and private meal, without feeling at all excluded. The food—including excellent Brussels sprouts and vlaamse frietjes—was delightful, as always.
