Only thing keeping the review being higher is that the Duroc Pork entree that has been a favorite of mine for years was not available. Further, we are informed that it is being dropped from the menu in a general menu revision. It would not surprise me if our 8-10 x per year visits are reduced to 1 or 2. St. Louis area has a lot of great restaurants where one can rely on the top menu items continuing.

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good. Ambience in the dining room suffers from the ratty-looking chairs. The room is eclectic in design, but the seating is unattractive. The bar was busy, and the ambience in there seems to be a bit better? And a question: do people really sit at those warped and paint-peeling tables out on the sidewalk?

The smoked Caesar salad was perfectly dressed and delicious. the pappardelle bolognese was outstanding. The barrel aged Manhattan is great. Service was also perfect making our dining experience flawless!
