Food was very good. Had the Oxtail tacos...very tasty. The polourie was great as well. Mac and cheese..delish! Drinks were on point. Only thing we went on a Saturday for brunch so it wasn't vibing that much. Heard Sunday is the day to go for brunch with the DJ and the festive ambiance.

The food was so delicious! Especially the skirt steak and the mashed yams! Yum! The salad was just okay. The plantain chips and Guacamole was delicious! The service was friendly, but could have been more attentive. We had to call over someone each time we needed something. However, the atmosphere was beautiful and great for our small birthdsy gathering. We would definitely return and recommend this place! A real find in Bergen County!

Jalao is an esthetically pleasing restaurant serving Dominican cuisine. The food & drinks were amazing and the ambience is on point. Definitely recommend for a date, girls night out, birthday event, etc. The art inside the restaurant is fantastic. Recommend 10/10!
