The atmosphere was relaxed and the service attentive without being overbearing. Considering it was a busy night (Valentine’s day) the service did not feel rushed and the food perfectly prepared.
Great food and service as usual. Just disappointed that we have to have a set menu on Valentine’s Day. It is also my partner’s birthday and we normally avoid 14th. But if you have to go somewhere, then I can’t think of anywhere better than Corrigan’s.
We had to pay £125 each in advance for Valentine's Day tasting menu. We checked in, gave our name. Once sat at table we were asked twice more our name, if we had booked, if we has paid. I began to doubt myself. We ordered two cocktails and moderately expensive (Pouilly Fume) wine, two liquers and a coffee in the bar. I was incredibly disappointed to get a bill for the 'extras' with cover charge and service charge on top of £250 set meal. This is gouging - we will not be going back.
Birthday treat for my better half ... did not disappoint, not that it was ever likely to. Lived up to previous visits: great food, great service. Thoroughly enjoyable.
I have now been twice, each for a birthday, and the experience was great both times. The ambience is fantastic, not overly loud, and well lit. The service is brilliant and extremely friendly, and then of course you come to the food which was really excellent.
I really struggle to think of anything negative at all that would serve as constructive feedback, other than perhaps my starter size was a tiny bit smaller than I would like.
But in all seriousness, I can't wait to come back again! Thank you for a lovely evening.
Great food and attentive service. Mum had a lovely birthday celebration.
Service was impeccable. Both my client & I enjoyed the food. A fantastic set menu, fresh ingredients throughout. Will come back again.
Impressed with Corrigan's, food was very tasty although portions were a bit on the small side. Staff were extremely, good willing to explain the menu and helpful with wine suggestions.
I would be happy to recommend Corrigan's to others.
Glamorous restaurant, charming staff, and delicious food!
Great restaurant, food and service 100% . Will go there again ! Brgds Oddur
A very enjoyable dinner for six - round table on left as you walk into the restaurant so a bit of a separate space which was nice. Nearer the kitchen, so you do get ambient noise / do hear how lively things get a peak times, but both the food and the service was exemplary. The a la carte menu is priced to signal an expectation of real quality, but fortunately the food delivered and an enjoyable night was had by all. Will certainly return.
Oysters were lovely, quail starter tremendous, John Dory faultless. But what really stole the show was the chocolate and orange souffle. Probably the best dessert I've had. Fantastic food, and also do a great pint of Guinness.
Fantastic Dinner for New Year’s Eve, entertainment was superb, service was great and the food was even better
New Year’s Eve dinner with my grown up sons. We made sure we were in the main restaurant and it was great. The boys had the roast suckling pig to share and it was amazing. The sommelier was very helpful and not at all snooty. The music was fun and the whole evening had a great vibe.
Very good quality produce which was cooked beautifully.
haven't been in a while, now I remember why I used to enjoy this restaurant so much. Excellent food and service and as you would expect a properly poured pint of Guinness
Really great menu with imagination but not dishes that needed an acquired taste....so full marks there. Wine recommendations were also good, but value for money was poor. For the wines I knew it appeared to me the mark up was excessive, and their was no real choice of decent wine south of £100. We had a bottle of champagne and two bottles of red which at least doubled the cost of everything else....it would have been nice to have been able to moderate total cost by having a selection of good but moderately priced wines in the £50 - £100 range.
That said my overall experience was very good
Lovely, cosy restaurant with fantastic food and service.
Fabulous understated excellence as always, thank you
We has a lovely lunch at Corrigan's Mayfair. The welcome was warm, food was excellent and the service was attentive without being intrusive. You must try their Irish coffee! Amazing.
We arrived to a very personal welcome, had a super cocktail in the bar then shown to our table.
Service was friendly and professional with a hint of Irish humour. We had menu of the day as it was lunch time, the choice was excellent to suit all tastes and the food was delicious all three course were polished
Totally relaxed, not rushed and had a wonderful time with friends and met some new one on the table behind us too...!
Highly recommend and can not wait for a return Al la Carte dinner.
a very nice experience - good food very well presented - is recommended
First class evening. Staff were amazing. Food fantastic.
very nice restaurant in Mayfair, the lunch set menu is good value for money, timely and attentive service, excellent food very well prepared and presented.
We had a wonderful time - the food was delicious, the staff delightful and the ambience fantastic. Really easy to get to by public transport. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return. Thank you very much.
Had a great time. We did the taster menu and it was amazing! Would definitely come back and recommend to friends .
Excellent food, only real disappointment was 3x cooked chips
Fabulous experience, food some of the best I’ve ever had! Just a note, if you go for the suckling pig make sure you’re hungry. It is absolutely mouth watering, but a big portion! Enjoy!
Always incredible. Surprised it’s not even busier!
We had a boys night out at Corrigan’s and had a great time. Tasting menu and wine pairing were fabulous. Service was very good and the sommelier was outstanding. Definitely going back.
Great atmosphere and relaxed. Good for dining with friends. Service attention varied.
Great food, nice dining room if a little drafty by the windows & the service was below par for a restaurant of its calibre.
A very disappointing lunch. Only a few covers, service poor, food uninspiring from the lunch menu.
An excellent place to lunch in Mayfair. The food is delicious, service first class, and the tables far enough apart for comfort and privacy.
Excellent service, good food, very knowledgeable and friendly sommelier, will return.
Overall a nice restaurant but the experience was not as good as expected. There were a number of staff who did seem attentive to other tables and maybe our service was affected by the position of our table in the corner at the rear. We occasionally poured our own water & wine and were not offered sides and called the waiter back to ask what about the menu and order. I was given the incorrect desert and a cover charge was placed on the bill even though we booked the set menu through Opentable. Not a bad overall experience but for a bill in excess of £200 for two people I expected more.
We have been a number of times. Have always liked the restaurant particularly the game dishes. We have had some wonderful game pies here. We were a bit disappointed in the current game pie. It was a piece of mallard breast in the crust versus a variety of meats. Had the quail, ceps and sweetbreads as appetizers and they were very good. My sister enjoyed the venison. All in all an excellent restaurant and we will return.
Food was lovely and staff were very attentive (without being intrusive). Will definitely be back! We arrived for a 2pm lunch and were still at the table by 830, staff did not rush us off the table at all which is unique for London restaurants!
Excellent long lunch last Friday to treat a friend. Great service. Great presentation. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
I have been going to Corrigans for a number of years but the standard of food, wine and service remain outstanding and it remains a firm Mayfair favourite!
