Fabulous experience, food some of the best I’ve ever had! Just a note, if you go for the suckling pig make sure you’re hungry. It is absolutely mouth watering, but a big portion! Enjoy!
Always incredible. Surprised it’s not even busier!
We had a boys night out at Corrigan’s and had a great time. Tasting menu and wine pairing were fabulous. Service was very good and the sommelier was outstanding. Definitely going back.
Great atmosphere and relaxed. Good for dining with friends. Service attention varied.
Great food, nice dining room if a little drafty by the windows & the service was below par for a restaurant of its calibre.
A very disappointing lunch. Only a few covers, service poor, food uninspiring from the lunch menu.
An excellent place to lunch in Mayfair. The food is delicious, service first class, and the tables far enough apart for comfort and privacy.
Excellent service, good food, very knowledgeable and friendly sommelier, will return.
Overall a nice restaurant but the experience was not as good as expected. There were a number of staff who did seem attentive to other tables and maybe our service was affected by the position of our table in the corner at the rear. We occasionally poured our own water & wine and were not offered sides and called the waiter back to ask what about the menu and order. I was given the incorrect desert and a cover charge was placed on the bill even though we booked the set menu through Opentable. Not a bad overall experience but for a bill in excess of £200 for two people I expected more.
We have been a number of times. Have always liked the restaurant particularly the game dishes. We have had some wonderful game pies here. We were a bit disappointed in the current game pie. It was a piece of mallard breast in the crust versus a variety of meats. Had the quail, ceps and sweetbreads as appetizers and they were very good. My sister enjoyed the venison. All in all an excellent restaurant and we will return.
Food was lovely and staff were very attentive (without being intrusive). Will definitely be back! We arrived for a 2pm lunch and were still at the table by 830, staff did not rush us off the table at all which is unique for London restaurants!
Excellent long lunch last Friday to treat a friend. Great service. Great presentation. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
I have been going to Corrigans for a number of years but the standard of food, wine and service remain outstanding and it remains a firm Mayfair favourite!
We had really been looking forward to dining here but on the night we came away feeling disappointingly underwhelmed by the meal and the cost. We realise you pay a premium for the restaurant location but £20 for an average glass of wine, £5 for a bottle of water & £5.50 for a few carrots didn’t seem to be value for money.
Atmosphere and service were both exemplary. Prices are high commensurate with being located in Mayfair. Breads and other nibbles were good. We skipped a starter and had the BBQ veal chops, served with wild mushrooms. I thought it was possibly the best veal chop I'd ever had. Desserts were good but not special, lacking any intensity of flavours. The wine list is comprehensive and one can spend a great deal on the well chosen selection. We ordered a modestly priced wine by the standard of the list, £40 for a Languedoc red, from the house of Mas de Daumas Gassac, a very good maker, so even this entry level wine was worth drinking. In all a relaxed and comfortable evening
We had the tasting menu and every course was sensational - I don’t usually bother with dessert but the soufflé blew me away. I’d happily come here again
We were not impressed at all with our experience here. We had heard many good reviews which is why we chose this restaurant so we were expecting to be blown away and we were throughly disappointed
We enjoyed our lunch. There were some lovely extra courses which was a nice touch. Most of the food was superb but some was a little underwhelming. The main reasons I marked it down slightly was that the restaurant was a little empty which did spoil the overall ambience, plus the wine list was a little steep. It could do with a few slightly cheaper options.
All that being said I would come back
Pretty disappointed with the food; definitely not good value for money! £21 for a single small luke-warm and gritty scallop as a starter...not good. The gnocci also far too salty (and again, luke warm). Tepid and over-priced. Will not return. The staff and service generally was very good - my issue was the very average food.
Wonderful evening of seasonal food, amazing cooking and superb service. Highly recommend.
Service was exceptional , food was excellent and would definitely book again
No atmosphere. Restaurant less than one third full.
Soup starter was brought and served cold (it was meant to be hot) and had to be sent back
Fish main courses were good
One of the best restaurants in London. The service, the ambience and the food is exemplary and superb.
I was lucky enough to dine at Corrigan's Mayfair during game season (after the "glorious 12th") so I was able to sample its delicious takes on traditional English fare. I thought the grouse pie was superb -- flaky pastry, tender bird, just enough seasoning (with a nice quince paste on the side) but nothing to mask the flavor of the meat -- but was even more impressed by my quail-over-coals appetizer. The sauce was delicate enough to provide different flavors, but allow the meat to shine. I've only had farm-raised quail in the US, and rarely at that as it's not often on menus or in supermarkets, so I was happily taken aback by how succulent the quail was, and how rich its skin. I would have tried a dessert but I was simply too stuffed afterwards to have anything (they did, nevertheless, give me a delicious Irish cream truffle). Service was impeccable and the noise level and atmosphere were equally on point. I'd say this is more for the "fine dining" experience than a loud Soho pub or bistro night, but that was exactly what I was hoping to get and Corrigan's Mayfair delivered.
Interesting selection of game meats and fowls. The food was very well prepared. We enjoyed our meal a lot. The service was good but slow — a touch more attentiveness and refinement in the service will add to the overall experience.
Wonderful experience, chosen for the Dover Sole, we expected fine food, wine and service. It exceeded expectations, the staff were delightful, especially the wine stewardess. And a thoughtful added touch for our wedding anniversary topped off the day!!!
Simply a delightful experience from start to finish.
Of our entrees the Dorset Crab Biqsue was an absolute standout, but the Baked Scallop and Bosworth Ash Log Ravioli were also divine.
The mains - the Venison was a highlight, but my companions thoroughly enjoyed the Sole and the Duck Breast.
As for Dessert, the Pistachio Souffle is a one of those dishes that diners will fondly remember. It is a creation the chefs should be incredibly proud of - light, airy. The best dish from our holiday.
The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Setting is glamorous, with lovely lighting, tableware and facilities.
Would definitely recommend, and look forward to returning.
Front of house young girl on door had not a clue I had to tell her why to do etc. Truly remarkable not her fault very nervous could barely speak wrong menus presented didn’t quite understand the concept of dining at all or pre drinks or menu review. Honestly was awful
Waited forever at my table for them to even give menus or greet me .... just bad service apart from tall attentive waiters that were very involved in big party .... tho still overall poor service. Something was not quite right didn’t flow at all
Went about 4 years ago completely different.
Beef wellington cold and tough foie gras cold and looked like been chewed didn’t eat beef Wellington hide it under the pastry
Terrine ..game I left too was so bland
Scallops ceviche good
Fish turbot with ink rice good.
Maybe a thyme here ... stick to fish ? I don’t know. Still love bentleys just big big disaster all round. Sorry so wanted to love
Knew exactly what food we were going to have ,expensive, but its Mayfair & certainly will be returning!!
Thankfully the chef didn’t touch the overpriced oysters. Twice the price of fine Mayfair restaurants. The Dover sole was over cooked and the two vegetable sides under cooked. The carrot side should have been given to my horse; much stronger jaws. All mains over priced. Won’t see us again.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner and were made very welcome. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and we were very comfortably seated at a round table. We were pleasantly surprised by the (unrequested) birthday chocolate slice with candle. It was a lovely touch from the charming, attentive staff. The food and wine were excellent and we hope to return soon.
Excellent I every sense, every time we go we like it more. Thanks, it is a hidden gem
Great service as always but as a regular at Corrigan’s food not its usual high quality - peaches not quite ripe, duck a little bit overdone hope it is just a blip
Had lovely Friday dinner with a friend. Food was delicious and service friendly.
Excelente restaurante en Londres
Lo visito cada vez que estoy en Londres
El pate increible
The restaurant was quiet so we could chat, staff were attentive but discreet, food was delicious, especially the mackerel starter. Wine was lovely. I would definitely go back again as would like to sample some more of the menu
Great food and excellent service. Was a little disappointed with the Turbot dish but everything else was great. Noise level was high but complimented the ambience.
Good meal. Minor issue resolved very effectively by staff - great service. Food very good off the 3 course set menu, pudding especially excellent.
My first visit here and to celebrate my partner's birthday. Food was of a very high quality and met our expectations.
