Delicious food and great service!
Our server Morgan was amazing and very helpful with recommendations food was on point and Morgan was a great ambassador for the restaurant brand
It was even nicer than I expected. Such a perfect date night.
We were there on a Friday night and received excellent service even though they were starting to get busy. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant.
Great night celebrating my husband's birthday with family. Delicious food, excellent company and great service - Thanks Jamie!! :-)
We dined at the Columbus Inn while on a getaway from Pittsburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The table was ready when we arrived. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was expertly prepared. I had the filet and my wife had crab cake. We also splurged on dessert! The restaurant has an extensive wine list, include a wide selection of Spanish reds and whites, which is very rare. They also offer wine specials on Wednesdays. We would definitely return.
It was a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were beautiful and the food was delicious. Only complaint was that we were placed at a rocky table and when asked to move to a more stable option staff seemed perplexed and unwilling stating that they had another reservation that was ALREADY late she noted. Considering this and the fact that we had been seated at the poor table I was surprised that this was even a discussion topic but once determined that we could relocate staff did not assist in the move, so we had to move our own drinks apps and personal affects and they walked away. Now this was not a deal breaker of the evening as I’m pretty light hearted but not the best first impression. I’d ask for more of this young staff in the future to be realistic and more helpful should this arise for any guest.
Our waitress, Morgan, was exceptional. She knew the menu and was extremely helpful.
Morgan was an outstanding server in a busy room. We have been to The Columbus Inn often, but this was the best meal My Wife recall having there.
We had a great server, Jose, and great food. We had the crab cake sandwich with fries and a delicious salmon dish.
We always have a nice time at Columbus Inn…there is always good mix of foods and beverages…
Service is very professional…
Cudos to management
We had not been here in a long time but we plan to frequent now. Excellent experience!
attentive waitstaff...quietly smart venue...best sirloin and ribs in years anywhere.
Great as always
The food was delicious, and the waitress was the best I have ever had.
Cassidy was awesome and the food was great. Looking forward to coming back soon 🤗
Lovely outdoor dining area, food is varied and always good. Some more small plate and sharable options would be good.
Our food was very good. The noise level was so loud the 2 of us could not hear each other across the small table. Service was delayed at several steps of the meal and bill presenting /paying process took a long time.
Grandma's perrogies and calamari were delicious appetizers. Paired with Emily's amazing martinis!! Dinner was equally amazing with succulent seafood over linguini and a decadent bourbon braised short rib that had a savory side dish. Well done Columbus Inn! Never a bad meal, always spot on with service. Thank you!
Food was amazing and the overall vibe and aesthetic was even better!
We dined in the outdoor area. Lovely setting. Food was delicious although we only had starters. Cocktails were good. The shrimp tacos were delicious. The shrimp was crispy and tender.
The food and service were excellent!!
We haven’t been here in over a year. We will return.
I took my 85 year old father for dinner as he had not been there in years. Joe was our waitstaff and he treated us like gold. He was very kind to my father and he was very cordial, friendly, and attentive to our needs. We had an outstanding dining experience.
The food was outstanding and the ambiance was exactly what we needed. The appetizers and entrees were elegantly served and were delicious!
Another great evening and meal. Almst a weekly visit because its consistently good.
Father’s Day Linner was fantastic! We loved everything!
Had a wonderful meal here for Father's day weekend. Our server, Morgan, was delightful and the food was great.
We had a reservation for 6 on a Sat night in June. We were seated promptly and service was good but we felt a bit rushed. The Tuna Roll & Deviled eggs are always delish!
Had a great experience for my friends birthday! The waitstaff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Everyone loved their food, and the drinks were delightful and not watered down. Dessert portions were HUGE, and they made just the right amount of fuss over the birthday girl. Great night!
We ate outside. The setting was very pleasant. The service could not have been better. We were able to dine at a leisurely pace and the food options left me wanting to eat three meals because they were so inviting. I recommend anyone in the Wilmington area to consider dining here and it would also be worth a trip from Philly.
We have rediscovered the Columbus Inn and are so glad that we have. Just had our second dinner in a few weeks there and made reservations for next week when we left. The Black Angus steak is wonderful. Their appetizers are creative and tasty. Our server, Dan, was exceptional and being on the porch was fun - surrounded by lovely flowers and people having a great time. Traffic noises make it a bit difficult to hear but that is OK. I even ate all my vegetables last night - I rarely do. And, do treat yourself to their gelato. A great way to celebrate meeting 68 years ago.
I didn’t get my waitress’s name but she was fantastic. After returning to dining after the pandemic I know a lot of restaurants are short staffed and have had to hire some less experienced servers. Our waitress was a pro. Absolutely exceptional- and it really stood out compared to my most recent ventures out to eat. The food is consistently good at Columbus Inn. They continue to get better!
First comment, our waitress was enthusiastic, attentive, knowledgeable, helped us select entree and wine. Entrees were delicious. We sat on back patio outside.Very quiet there.Front
patio more lively.Big crowd inside noisy but everyone looked to be enjoying themselves.Nice decor and great atmosphere. On vaca just passing thru, but would return and highly recommend
We enjoyed everything we ordered. We stuck with seafood... lump crab meat, crab cakes, ahi tuna.. all great. The old fashioned was too sweet and a nice place like this needs to use proper large cubes, but we are bourbon snobs :) nice wine selections and after dinner drinks. Overall very nice night out
Food quality to amazing! The dining room setting with the candles is relaxing. I enjoy myself everytime I visit.
ANOTHER great meal to celebrate our Anniversary. Contrary to popular belief, I did not insist on starting with desserts! She had the Key Lime Pie and I had the Mint Chocolate Chip Cremè Brulè. Main course was surf for her and turf for me!
Excellent food and excellent service. Very accommodating staff.
Really fine staff from Front Desk all the way down to "bus girl"--friendly, energetic, attentive. Food was excellent--NY steak and stuffed trout. I thought the menu could use a little tweeking--more pizza options and maybe one more entre since if you didn't want beef, there weren't a lot of options.
But overall, very nice.
Great waiter and food was amazing. The outside patio is beautiful.
First time here, delicious food. Had the pork belly bites and pierogies for an app and they were to die for. The cherry burratta salad was good although I don’t think it was burratta just fresh mozzarella, but delicious nonetheless - they even split it for us since we were sharing. We had the salmon with risotto and filet with green beans and mash - salmon was perfect but the filet came over cooked and when remade came very undercooked. They did take the filet off the bill and took care of the dessert which was very appreciated. Dessert we have the peanut butter cup and the mint choc chip crepe brûlée which both were really good. Outside is really cute and love the flowers everywhere. Will definitely be back :)
Love Columbus inn but last two times there once for dinner party of two and then again for brunch party of 4 the hostess’s seem not to know how to handle basic situations. 1- They seem to feel they are stuck with table assignments and unable to adjust when order of of guest come in differently the assigned tables are ready. My table at 7:30pm was not ready and I was made to wait 25 minutes until people left table all while three 2 tops were seated that came 10 -15 mins after us. Front off house needs to learn how to use a dry eraser. 2- Arrived for 10:45am brunch and when they wanted to seat us in fine dining area I asked if we could sit in the near empty bar area and was told it would not be possible. When inquiring why they looked again and asked if we would be done by 1:30 pm . I said of course that’s 2.5 hours away and was seated in bar area. Again I think someone maybe manager assigns names to tables and then hand off to inexperienced hostesses who don’t know they can change it when it makes sense.
