I had never been here but I know people that have been going for years. It’s beautiful on the inside however it could definitely use some upgrades. The carpet in the area that we sat in was pretty old and dirty looking. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and the food was very good. I did not have a cocktail but the list looked very nice as well!

I absolutely loved everything about the cock-n-bull but for two soups and two salads and one beverage each $82.00 is a bit pricey.

It was okay not the same cock n' bull I remember pre-covid. I completely understand that everyone is short staff and I get it. We arrived at 3:28 for a 3:30 reservation and we were told that we were to early for our reservations so we had to wait. We were seated at 3:42. There was tons of open tables but I do believe there was only like three servers working on a Saturday. Our waitress was hard to find at times and not sure where she was. Our waitress also gave us the wrong beer. I hope they can get back our the feet! I miss the old cock n' bull.

Definitely a must to eat here if spending time at Peddlers Village!! I had made reservations and has soon as we walked in we were seated. Waitress never came and hostess noticed this (after about 10 minutes)and had the waitress come right over. Drinks took a while to come out after they were ordered, so much so that about 5 minutes later our food came out. Food was excellent, so good!! Highly recommend the chicken pot pie 🥧. The lack of waitresses is my complaint. The actual waitress only took our order after being hailed down. The drinks, food and bill ,( because we asked the hostess for it) were all brought to us by everyone but our waitress. They need more help, no other complaints……

I haven’t been there in a couple of years and I was so happy to be back. I made a reservation for myself and had the perfect seat looking out at the beautiful lights. I was accommodated with the perfect table. The food was absolutely delicious as always. Thank you so much. I’m so happy to be back and I’ll see you again. Table for 1 please. Glorious.

Great date night for peddlers village fire and ice weekend!!! Service was efficient, food was great and ambience was a bit bare, but nicely spaced out. We had a great time and would go back next time we hit peddlers village!

I was disappointed with the interior of the restaurant. It looks like it is in need of an update, very worn. I also had to return my sandwich because the bacon was old and tasted bad. I don’t like to complain, but this was a special birthday lunch for my friend who had never been to the Cock and Bull. Not what I expected!

We went for NYE and was very disappointed!! When we walked in it felt like we were in a cafeteria the lighting is so bright nothing special about the ambiance. We used to go here 30 yrs ago and it sure has gone down hill no more fine dinning. I mean put table cloths on the tables with a candle and lower your lights or get rid of that ugly light in the middle of the ceiling and it would be so much better. Food was ok nothing special small menu. The wait staff was very nice friendly and helpful! Sadly won’t be going back will stick with the other restaurants in the village!

Very slow in getting served 15 minutes for water ! No one was very pleasant ! Not even a Happy New Year! It was not at all festive ! Have eaten there for 40 years including several New Years eves, they were always festive ! Very
disappointed! There use to be a hat or noisemakers on the tables ! The only thing good was the food, but it took forever to get !!

The first thing I noticed was the terrible condition of the carpeting throughout the
restaurant---looks really bad
But the main problem was in the food--I selected the chicken pot pie (which I was
told was all white chicken) & was a good sized portion---there was mostly dark meat
which I cannot eat & the portion was that of a bowl of soup.

My partner ordered the chicken apple salad with blue cheese dressing--the first
thing they noticed was that the chicken looked & tasted like tuna fish---to top it
off the blue cheese dressing was very runny (watered down)

We ended up speaking to the manager who gave us a discount on our bill

This was our first time here and won’t be the last time. The brussel sprout slaw was absolutely delicious and the crab cake had no filler - so yummy! My partner had the roast beef sandwich and she loved it - the horseradish sauce was perfect too!

The setting was romantic and mostly quiet, although there were a couple of families that let their children run around (not the fault of the establishment). Nevertheless, the spacious dining room allowed for a relaxing and stress-free early dinner / late lunch. Food was good, server was very good and we had a wonderful time. I would recommend to the establishment that they replace their carpet which is overly worn and stained.

Definitely overrated. We were lucky enough to get a reservation while the Peddlers Village Holiday Light Display was going on. We waited at the host/hostess check-in station for 10 minutes as nobody was there and the staff did not know where the host was. After finally being seated I noticed the restaurant was only about 20% full, despite having no reservations available. I was told that there were only three waiters available so they were throttling the reservations.

I ordered an onion soup which was average at best with only a small amount of cheese on top, and the chicken pot pie which was skimpy and the "pie" was a separate piece of puff pastry laid on top of a chicken stew. My wife had a seafood and pasta dish that had a taste similar to pasta with Heinz Ketchup, which we sent back.

The atmosphere was unremarkable...basically a bunch of large rooms with no real ambiance in the actual dining area but a nice view of the Christmas lights in the Peddlers Village Courtyard.

So overall no real complaints with the service other than check-in, the food was unremarkable and the price was high.

Turkey meal only 2 small slices of turkey and potato with gravy had to ask for stuffing and cranberry, which came later, very small meal
Crab dinner came on a skillet with a potato, very bland and unattractive
Also the rugs need cleaning

Children's menu had excellent choices and outstanding prices. The adults were all pleased with their choices of a crabcake sandwich, hot pastrami sandwich, special blend hamburger, a roast beef sandwich, a grilled chicken.sandwich,, and a chicken salad sandwich. A top quality meal at a fair price.

Very quaint looking and had a nice window view of the Village. Waitress was sweet but service was slow, sign of the times we are in. Food was not flavorful and very small portion. The restaurant needs some TLC. Frayed, stained carpet and looked run down.

I have gone to this restaurant for years, and am so disappointed in its decline. Mostly, it is in DESPERATE need of upgrading!! The carpets are absolutely atrocious! They are worn thin and absolutely FILTHY! I was shocked. They were like this a couple of years ago when I was there, but wow, they have gotten so much worse! We were there on a Monday night, not a weekend, but the fireplace was not even lit so the ambiance was not there like it usually is. I believe they are shortstaffed. Our waitress was lovely, but overworked, so we had to wait quite a while for simple requests like salad dressing or coffee. The food was fairly good. I called to speak with them about this yesterday and was told that they ARE planning to replace carpets and do other things in January, so I hope that on our next visit, things have much improved. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

I have well actually my parents started the tradition of coming here every year at Christmas. They actually came here before it was anything and was actually chicken coops as I was told. They came here every year before children and then passed it onto us and now I am passing it onto my children.
I am so glad they finally changed the menu after many many many years. The food is always excellent and the service especially was superb last night.
We have eaten at all of the restaurants now over the years but this is our favorite.
See you the same time next year !

The service was not too swift. Our soups came out after the meal was presented. The soups were cold. The wait staff almost forgot about us a few times. I get the sense however that they were understaffed on the day we ate. Perhaps this is a rare occurrence.
