Born in Salerno, Italy, Angelo was first taught to cook by his mother in their home kitchen. Both of his parents (his father was a local butcher) instilled in him the importance of using only locally gathered meats and fish, growing garden-fresh herbs, and baking breads from scratch. Angelo hand-selects the freshest, seasonal ingredients and artfully prepares them in an inviting setting of warmth and sophistication. A carefully curated list of wines has been masterfully chosen to create an extensive wine list from every region around the world. Clark's Aspen is the 2nd location of McGuire Moorman's popular neighborhood oyster bar set in the historic & beloved former Little Annie's location. The Clark's team has worked to uphold much of the charm of the previous tenant including fully restoring it's oak bar. Betula is the new endeavor of French chef Laurent Cantineaux and Venezuelan architect and restaurateur Juan Carlos Pérez Febres, co-owners of Bonito, a restaurant in the French West Indies Island of St. Barth. Betula offers French Pan-American cuisine with the show case of Rotisserie selection; a combination that was mastered flawlessly by Chef Cantineaux and known for his innovative cuisine crafted with French techniques and his experience in the America for over 20 years.
