Brunch menu needs more variety. Need at least one traditional eggs, grits, biscuits, bacon, sausage gravy combo.
Great restaurant. Server, service and food were all great. We went on a Friday night and it was busy, but the noise level still allowed for easy conversation around the table. I've never had a bad experience at any Clyde's restaurant.
We have come to Clyde's for our last 4 anniversaries. This was our 60th. The 3 before this one, the waiter's all said, anniversaries are great, and the dessert was on them. I always appreciated their thoughtfulness, and
I always added to my regular tip the cost of the dessert, just for them being so kind and thoughtful. This waiter just lost out. We will always come to Clyde's. We love everything about you all. Keep up the great service.
Our dinner was top-notch - all four of us had a great experience. We also had fantastic service - our server was Laramie and she was great.
This is a favorite restaurant of ours, but this visit was just so-so. Our server, obviously inexperienced, was slow, unable to answer some of our questions about various items and not attentive once we had been served. One of our party said her dish was wonderful and one got an old standby that was good but not outstanding. I tried something new and found it very salty. We weren't counting on any freebie, but none was offered even though I had mentioned a birthday when I made the reservation, and the server noted that she knew it was someone's birthday.
Wonderful crab cakes and steaks. Sauce was superb.
Clyde’s never disappoints food-wise. The steaks are fabulous. Appetizers are good, calamari is great. Subscribe for their specials which sometimes features lobsters or half price wine etc
The service varies by room/section
Big back barn - lots of newbie waitstaff
Cool little rooms or outside - mostly veteran waitstaff
Pretty good value price wise relative to selection and quality
Amazing setting in an old farmhouse in Ashburn right near 267 exit
Had a great meal.
We visited for my Mother's birthday. Clyde's never disappoints. The food was excellent, the ambiance perfect. An enjoyable evening. We'll be back.
The kind of place that makes you want to get married again...romantic, exquisite, must see and experience, good food, very reasonable wine by the bottle. Must do if you are in DC area.
Food is always good at Clyde's, but can't say the same about the service tonight. We had been sitting for 15 minutes before the our waitress came to acknowledge us, and another 10 minutes before she showed up for some water. Every time she dropped off something, it took at least another 10-15 minutes or more to re-appear. Bread was never brought out until after we asked for it after another waiter brought the entree.
Clyde's always has good food but the inattentive and slow service tonight spoiled what could otherwise have been an enjoyable Sunday dinner out.
Wonderful for a family - wait staff very knowledgeable and sensitive to people with special diet requirements.
Waiter was outstanding. Drinks were refreshing and food was delicious. Even though the back room is still being renovated and we sat in the bar, it was very clean, quiet, and enjoyable.
Took friend for birthday and everything was perfect including her surprise sundae.
such a perfect restaurant for close family , friend gatherings
Dinner was excellent. I had the Filet Mignon and my husband had the Veal Chop. Both were cooked to perfection! The starter (artichoke and crab dip) was served warm with a warm banquette. Very tasty. Each of us had a side of sliced tomatoes with cheese. They were willing to work with me to provide something other than crumbled blue cheese. The dessert (warm peach pie) was a perfect way to end the meal. We will definitely be back!
Always enjoy coming here, but this was the first time we sat outdoors. It was a beautiful day, the seating area is covered so no direct sun. Loved the water feature with spouting herons (?). We just had burgers, one a bison burger - they were happy to put that on a regular bun and leave off all the unusual toppings, per request (we are burger purists). Fruit salad is delightful, fresh, ripe melon and berries. Fries okay, a bit oily. Still, a very good menu and exceptional service today.
We had a great brunch, the service was perfect and the food was great. The only complaint is that our booth seat had ripped fabric on it. That may seem minor but it was uncomfortable to sit on.
Great food and service. Made a special birthday even more special
The local tomatoes really made the meal. I had a BLT with three thick slices of tomato. Excellent. Another input party had ribs and tomatoes with blue cheese in the side. YES!!!
Crab cakes were okay. I’d like to suggest the chefs dine at Woody’s in Dewey Beach, Delaware to taste truly exceptional crab cakes.
The blackberry shortcake for dessert was very good.
Second time I have eaten there in a week. The Maryland crab soup was fantastic! Love the decor and atmosphere. They were very accommodating when our reservations increased by 2 people.
Celebrated the 82nd birthday of the patriarch of the family......12 to 82 with lots of ages in between. Wonderful time for all.
We would highly recommend Clydes because of the ambiance, excellent food choices, service and quality the food as prepared. Over the last 6 years, we have repeatedly taken visiting relatives and friends to Clyde’s and they are all equally impressed.
I completely enjoyed my experience here and was somewhat reluctant to go there at first. Our food was delicious, the price was fair, and I was completely comfortable. I look forward to returning!
A side step fro the Clyde's you may be used to. Still stresses beef and seafood, but goes in some different directions with farm to table options and sourcing. Great bar cocktails and a decent by-the-glass wine menu. It is a visual experience, with very different feelings and ambiance based on which wing your are seated in. Always terrific service, with great execution from the kitchen. Worth the drive from wherever you are.
Good food as always but the room was overly noisy with a large birthday party occurring.
Always a great meal and service at this fine establishment. Food is excellent and uses local ingredients. The menu varies according to the season so that's a good indication that chefs offer handcrafted recipes. The service is friendly and attentive, and make you feel welcome and at ease. The restaurant architecture and interior design are beautifully executed which makes the environment look very upscale yet comforting and inviting. The value is excellent as the prices are very reasonable.
Nice restaurant, interesting menu.
Had dinner on outdoor shaded patio. Location and ambiance are great. Server had wonderful personality but food arrived cold from kitchen after 30+ minute wait. Had to send it back to be recooked and warmed. Came back acceptably warm but not "fresh hot." Clearly a breakdown between server and kitchen -- food clearly sat after preparation and was not delivered in a timely manner. Have eaten at Clyde's Willow Creek multiple times before, this is the first time this has happened -- but it dampens what could have been a wonderful evening. Will go again, but will be "on the lookout" for additional problems.
Crab cake was delicious. We ate on the patio and enjoyed the setting very much.
Excellent as always. Very consistent food with friendly service.
This was our first time at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm. We had heard good things about the restaurant. We agree - it's very nice with great decor and ambiance. We started at the bar during their Happy Hour. We had very reasonably priced cocktails and an appetizer. We then went into the Washington dining room for dinner. Our food was very good and, since it was a Monday night, our bottle of wine was half price. Our server explained that he was new, but he was very friendly and checked back with us often. We would like to go back sometime and dine on the lovely patio.
I met a friend for Brunch this past Sunday. This Clyde's location is really beautiful and the restaurant at 11:30 in the morning was really quiet. The food was good, as always. I had the brioche French toast and it was yummy. I will definitely return again!
Requested certain room and seating and you were able to accommodate me. Food was excellent. Guests were from out of country and were impressed. Piano was not an added attraction as we were interested in conversation. Still rated excellent.
Just wanted you to know our waitress Ruth was a jewel. 3 women, having a 4 1/2 hr lunch. She was patient, available when we needed her and so adorable.
Great meal as usual. Sat outside for a change, warm day but shady and comfortable. Food was tasty as usual.

Had a reservation at Clyde's for my birthday brunch. We've been several times before and this has to be one of my favorite local spots for simple but delicious meals. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, service was very flexible, and I had a wonderful time. My only issue was that one of my poached eggs on my Norwegian Benny was overcooked (I'm a stickler for a runny yolk, but this was the first time this has happened in my many years of going to Clyde's). Otherwise, it was a fantastic meal all around.
