Customary high quality service, atmosphere, friendliness and, above all, beautifully prepared and cooked dishes.
As moved from London 20 years ago have only been back here a few times but always terrific food, great service and great value for money
Worth every penny. Tuna carpaccio and green bean salad to start were superb. Linguine with lobster was incredible as was the black noodles with langoustine and scallops. Staff were very attentive and friendly. They could definitely use a new sound system- there’s what sound like a tinny transistor rádio behind the bar. With bigger speakers spread throughout it would be actually quieter but warmer sounding and more befitting of a classy place like this. Artwork and decor is beautiful and a bit quirky. I highly recommend Cibo for a special occasion.
Nice restaurant and courteous staff. It was Saturday evening but quiet due to the Rishi scheme. It’s busier mon-wed. Had a lovely lobster spaghetti dish. Lovely. Go there. You’ll like it.
Outstanding food, service and atmosphere, as always at Cibo.
It was so lovely to treat ourselves with a meal out after lockdown - sitting outside on a balmy evening enjoying crisp white linen and the most delicious food. Thank you!
Very good food , service, music. We are happy. Thanks.
Great food and interior.
Don’t let the outside fool you
Lovely food, interesting menu not just the usual arribiata and so on, thoroughly enjoyed it.
This was my second visit to Cibo and it didn’t disappoint. The service was friendly and efficient and the food delicious, especially the lobster linguine. I wish there was a place like Cibo in my neighbourhood!
Each time I go back to Cibo reminds me why this Holland Park stalwart has remained my favourite 'neighbourhood' Italian. A regularly changing menu for those who, like me, keep coming back for more along with warm, welcoming, friendly and efficient service makes for a winning formula. Rustic authentic north Italian fare is always excellent, and I had a particularly good Ossobucco which makes a rare but welcome appearance during the winter season. I'll be back!
Very friendly staff relaxed atmosphere the food was excellent.
The food was awesome authentic and homemade, really good service from the waitress, great night!
One of best Italian restaurants in London. Real authentic food, cooked well and will tasty ingredients. Great seafood options as well as pasta and meat. Excellent chef and also good wine selection. Friendly waitresses really helpful and professional.
Starters a little more pricey than others similar restaurants.
We have been going to Cibo for many years and it never disappoints. The food is lovely, the service attentive without being too overbearing. A lovely unpretentious place.
Fantastic food and excellent service for our group of 6
The food at Cibo is outstanding and prepared with knowledge and care. The choices are few but they are all freshly prepared and beautifully presented.
The wine choices are varied as is the pricing, making it easy on the wallet.
The only thing that lets it down is the lack of 'buzz', although I would say that it is perfect for that comfortable meal with friends or a business or couples meal.
Will definitely be going there again.
The meal and the overall experience we had in this restaurant was fantastic. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we definitely recommend the restaurant to oters.
Food was great and the service was very lovely too!
Cibo continues to shine. Do not miss this place. Perfectly cooked pasta and top quality meats and seafood. Friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere.
Brilliant Seafood, great service and great cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended!
First time for 5 of us. Such a charming, cosy spot and very welcoming too. We were presented with a big plate of antipasti with our drinks, unexpected treat that set the mood for the entire evening . Lovely service from all staff. Yummy dishes, pasta all kinds and calf's liver that was perfect. The bottle of Pecorino was excellent. Desserts were really delicious--i normally am not interested but these were irresistible.we will definitely be returning.
Cibo is very good on all areas. Always fresh with good service and a nice ambience
always reliably good food, nicely presented by friendly staff.
I've written glowing reviews on this restaurant before, but I just want to re-iterate that Cibo really does qualify as a neighbourhood gem - and worth a journey! I had lobster and pasta and it was sublime, and my two friends I was with were full of glowing praise.
Absolutely loved it
Small and cute restaurant next to Olympia, great food and atmosphere. We will repeat!
An absolutely awesome meal & the house red was a perfect partner. Will definitely revisit on our next London trip.
Beautiful food. We didn’t order desert but they still bought us tiny complimentary cakes.
This restaurant tucked away off Holland Park Rd is a little gem. Lovely food, which was well presented and reasonable value.
As with many London restauarants the traffic outside, especially with the large front windows open given the hot weather is a little bit of a downside but shouldn't detract from a great meal!
Lovely local restaurant, although a little too quiet on a Thursday evening.
Fish especially good.
Small intimate Italian restaurant with great atmosphere. Food was wonderful. Waitstaff young but helpful. One of best meals we had on our recent London stay
Always excellent food and courteous service in an elegantly simple atmosphere. An annual favorite when we are in London.
Good food, good service and good wine. A very enjoyable lunch with good size portions.
Never less than lovely at Cibo. 30 years on, still a favourite.
Thoroughly recommend this if you like Italian food - a great find!
Food with a Sardinian twist was fantastic, ingredients were top notch, tuna and sword fish carpaccio was outstanding as well as the fregola with baby squids. The home made desserts were a pleasant surprise!
We’ve been going to Cibo for 6 years to celebrate special family occasions. The food is exceptional and the staff always nice, professional and friendly. A bit expensive but a real treat.
Cibo really is a neighbourhood gem. The fairly frequently changing menu offers a wide choice of inventive dishes that I've not found in any other London based Italian restaurant, and the cooking is of a consistently excellent standard. Service too is outstanding, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere. It ticks all my boxes!
