First time for 5 of us. Such a charming, cosy spot and very welcoming too. We were presented with a big plate of antipasti with our drinks, unexpected treat that set the mood for the entire evening . Lovely service from all staff. Yummy dishes, pasta all kinds and calf's liver that was perfect. The bottle of Pecorino was excellent. Desserts were really delicious--i normally am not interested but these were irresistible.we will definitely be returning.
always reliably good food, nicely presented by friendly staff.
I've written glowing reviews on this restaurant before, but I just want to re-iterate that Cibo really does qualify as a neighbourhood gem - and worth a journey! I had lobster and pasta and it was sublime, and my two friends I was with were full of glowing praise.
Absolutely loved it
Small and cute restaurant next to Olympia, great food and atmosphere. We will repeat!
An absolutely awesome meal & the house red was a perfect partner. Will definitely revisit on our next London trip.
Beautiful food. We didn’t order desert but they still bought us tiny complimentary cakes.
This restaurant tucked away off Holland Park Rd is a little gem. Lovely food, which was well presented and reasonable value.
As with many London restauarants the traffic outside, especially with the large front windows open given the hot weather is a little bit of a downside but shouldn't detract from a great meal!
Lovely local restaurant, although a little too quiet on a Thursday evening.
Fish especially good.
Small intimate Italian restaurant with great atmosphere. Food was wonderful. Waitstaff young but helpful. One of best meals we had on our recent London stay
Always excellent food and courteous service in an elegantly simple atmosphere. An annual favorite when we are in London.
Good food, good service and good wine. A very enjoyable lunch with good size portions.
Never less than lovely at Cibo. 30 years on, still a favourite.
Thoroughly recommend this if you like Italian food - a great find!
Food with a Sardinian twist was fantastic, ingredients were top notch, tuna and sword fish carpaccio was outstanding as well as the fregola with baby squids. The home made desserts were a pleasant surprise!
We’ve been going to Cibo for 6 years to celebrate special family occasions. The food is exceptional and the staff always nice, professional and friendly. A bit expensive but a real treat.
Cibo really is a neighbourhood gem. The fairly frequently changing menu offers a wide choice of inventive dishes that I've not found in any other London based Italian restaurant, and the cooking is of a consistently excellent standard. Service too is outstanding, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere. It ticks all my boxes!
In London on Friday and thought it would be good to revisit Cibo. Glad we did. We had a fantastic meal - never been let down yet - and wonderful service from all the staff. A real pleasure to eat here and incredibly good value. No complaints at all.
Whilst we had an enjoyable evening, we found Cibo to be fairly expensive compared to the previous evenings dinner at another local restaurant.
The staff were friendly and the food was good.
The stairs down to the toilets were very steep, which was not good in my opinion.
Very nice atmosphere with great food and wine. Would recommend.
Cibo is a great Italian restaurant, the food is always delicious and the service is perfect.
Very charming place with lovely people and tasty food.
Would definitely recommend!
Excellent octopus starter and moscardini with fregola . Delicious !
It’s always a pleasure to be at Cibo . Thank you
Neighbourhood Italian restaurant with authentic fresh and delicious dishes. Lively atmosphere with friendly and very competent informal service. V tasty focaccia and flatbreads - complimentary - as were the charming petits fours served with coffee.
We had a very special New Year‘s Eve at Cibo. Perfect food, excellent ambiance and very friendly people!
Have been going to this venue for 15+ years and it never fails to impress; the menu is varied and ever changing, the cooking great and the service lovely; Authentic Italian food and service.
The venue isn't huge and this means the tables are fairly close together, but if this doesn't bother you, I'd have no hesitation in recommending the place.
Great food with excellent service . We were a group booking but it felt very personal still
We will certainly go again
On a 2-week trip to London, we chose Cibo for a special night out. It was walking distance from our flat, but worth seeking out even if you are not nearby. A small space decorated with impressive art works—cozy yet sleek. The meals were fantastic: a mushroom starter (fricco), and mains of grilled squid (calamaretti) and a sort of bouillabaisse (la sautee di mare). The bread basket held an assortment so that you could choose a favorite to complement your dish. Nice dessert, too. The wine list was interesting and affordable. The servers pleasant. Seemed like the proprietor kept a watchful eye to ensure that all went well, and welcomed regulars. Highly recommended.
Good service. We booked last minute as we were staying locally and the food was of a high standard. Authentic Italian.
Beautiful food kind and attentive staff, worth the extra travel!
Fantastic local gem feel. Highly recommended.
Pleasant enough but nothing that special. Staff very nice and friendly. Food OK. Very nice wine list quite eclectic.
Utterly delicious food, wonderfully attentive service and a peaceful artfilled environment. What else could you want?
Nice place, good food, creative cuisine, our waitress was a bit lost, its a bit pricey.
Cibo merits its popularity with its many regulars and London’s Italian community. The food is superb, made with the freshest ingredients and lovingly prepared. The service is unobtrusive but careful and the cadre is agreeable.
After a very pleasant experience of Cibo for a family celebration some months ago, we went again for a date night out. We were delighted with the friendly welcome, helpful explanations of the menu, delicious food, and the excellent accompanying bits & bobs (olives, breads, petits fours).
Quiet yet cosy & v friendly - we will return!
I’ve been going to Cibo for longer than I can remember, and both the food - with its regularly evolving menu showcasing interesting and authentic Italian fare, wonderfully executed and beautifully presented. Service is both friendly and efficient. Never had a bad meal yet (it’s over 15 years...)
Great food, particularly the octopus which is hard to find as a main course and delicious. Excellent complimentary appetizers and petit fours a good experience all round. Would go again if in the area.
The food was very good but the atmosphere was lacking. The floor and ceiling seemed dirty and in need of remodeling. Service was nice but not high end.
Thoroughly enjoyable on every level
Could do with a mixed salad on menu though ..... other than that truly superb
