As usual an amazing meal! Service always excellent. Best banoffee pie ever :)
Excellent service, delicious food and beautiful setting.
Lovely food. Excellent and friendly service. Lovely atmosphere … highly recommend!
Loved being there and indoor garden.Good service food great thanks so much.
Fantastic food, staff all friendly and willing to help and awnser any questions you have . Just a great place to eat and drink
I go to the chaser a lot. This was a meet with a friend and we sat in the garden as the weather was lovely. Service was good, all servers attentive and friendly. The food was nice. I had been 4 days before and had a lovely salmon dish so I had it again but it wasn’t as nice. The salmon fillet was much smaller than the piece before and there was no dill, potatoes a bit mushy and overdone. The lunch service I had only a few days before was much better presented. Staff also didn’t know all the elements of a dish, but did ask the chefs for me but I felt a bit awkward asking questions. We also didn’t know what the soup and pie were that day. These are minor things but can be easily rectified by ensuring table staff are well informed of every element. Menu was nice. It used to change more often but now is quite repetitive. There was a new pork dish on though that hadn’t been there before. There are no covid restrictions now at all and no masks required or worn by staff. I’m fine with this but my companion was more concerned. The garden is lovely, comfy chairs with cushions. Music was sometimes a bit intrusive… for such a lovely setting id rather hear the church bells and birds. The intrusion of music makes me think of awful trips to macdonalds with my children when they were younger.. not a time I relished. Overall a nice experience. One I will do again as it is local to me and I go often, not just for dinner but lunch and the lovely breakfasts too… especially welcome after a walk over the fields behind with my dog.
We sat in the garden, the pub was busy as it was a hot sunny day. Therr was a short delay due to heat in kitchen food was good, service was good, staff were attentive.
Very pleasant experience enjoyed the food helpful staff
Excellent venue for meeting friends. Variety of seating areas, plenty of choice on menu and very helpful, cheerful staff. Enjoyable time catching up with friends without being rushed.
Good food, great service, lovely environment. A choice pub.
Food was lovely and not just the usual pub selection. Prices fair. Huge garden and inside space. Staff were a little too attentive with several asking if we were ok within seconds of each other!
Great location. Great food. Nice garden. Will be back!
Great food and service we love The Chaser it’s quality every time we visit
brilliant location and extremely good food with amazing staff
Great food and service. Always enjoy going to the Chaser. We had a family gathering and went there for a Sunday roast. Everything was cooked fantastic and tasted delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.
A wonderful place to eat with a great range of dishes to choose from and freindly, courteous staff, highly recommend!
Great food, but thought very pricey for what it was! Pint of moretti was £5.30!!
Staff very polite great service great tasty food will be visiting again soon i hope
As usual we had a lovely evening and an excellent meal
Located in a beautiful corner of West Kent, The Chaser has always been a welcoming pub and restaurant for locals and visitors. The food is great, the puddings are better, and the beer is always varied and interesting. Good for dogs too!
Social distancing and CV precautions were excellent and inspired confidence.
The beer garden on a sunny evening was a wonderful setting, the only improvement would be to do without the music, which was too loud (for me, perhaps others not so)
The food was up to its normal standard and enjoyable. As we were driving I couldn't sample any of the alcoholic drinks.
All services were very efficient, choice of table given. Food very good standard. We were all extremely satisfied.
Very nice service and a decent menu with well spaced tables. Atmosphere and ambiance was OK - no problems but the area where we were seated (formerly a courtyard) feels a bit dead. Sensible prices. We have been many times and it is a reliable if unspectacular option.
Good choice of food, I am Gluten intolerant & they were very helpful. Service was excellent
Keep returning because each time they provide an impressive level of customer care. They corrected a seating issue promptly, serve in good time and there is always a pleasant atmosphere.
Really enjoyed our Sunday Roast yesterday, the food was delicious and hot, but the portions were really big! Friendly staff and quick service.
Lovely staff, very tasty food and extensive gin list.
Lovely evening and lovely food enjoyed by all parties
Sat in the garden, welcoming and attentive staff despite being busy. Good quality food and well priced.
We are regular visitors to Chaser Inn for lunch, and are very happy to recommend it - great food, and friendly environment.
Lovely lovely country pub, brilliant drunks selection, the largest fish and chips we have ever seen and beautiful decor.
A very pleasant place . Excellent & attentive Staff. Prices on the high side for fairly average food.
Satisfied with service and food
Wines a bit expensive, No house wine offered
What a lovely way to celebrate our 13th and our friends' 63rd anniversaries. We visited the nearby Ightham Mote and then drove the short distance to The Chasers Inn. It wasn't easy to park because of a lorry delivering new parasols but once we'd sorted that out we went to a table in the garden and spent a couple of hours eating good, food, drinking some excellent wine and being served by happy, friendly and efficient staff. When my desert was a little delayed, the manager apologised and got it sorted immediately. No wonder this Inn is kept busy, even on a Monday lunchtime. If we're back in the area I'm sure we'll be booking again.
Very good service and great selection of desserts. Main meals were very good, shame my first choice was not available.
Excellent food, lovely ambience and very attentive service. Second visit within 3 weeks and we will be back again.
Staff were fantastic.
Food was very bland and not a lot of it for the price.
Not as good as it was with a poor menu & not really a restaurant now only pub grub. Drinks were expensive but no descent glasses or well presented so won’t be returning.
