Main Bar Brillant - Keio Plaza Hotel
Lovely restaurant near Meiji shrine. The service was exceptional. The pasta's and food were innovative and delicious, certainly as good as you would find in Rome /Milan/Florence etc. Very nice Italian leaning wine list at decent prices. There are few restaurants in Tokyo at this standard and price. Great lunch and bottle of wine $77 for 2. The owners and staff are wonderful people we wish them well and thank you for a great lunch. From the moment we arrived, the staff was great. We were greeted, promptly shown to a great table, where the server explained the process and options Ann's recommended different meat cuts. Shew was attentive throughout the whole experience. The meat was amazing, delicious rice and fresh veggies made for a wonderful experience. The environment was very nice, comfortable and casual at the same time. Highly recommend it! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Service was very personalized and some of the friendliest I’ve experienced in Tokyo. Price was right and food was good. I wish it was non-smoking, but that’s less of a problem at this kind of restaurant due to the ventilation. Will return MoreOpenTable Diner -
As a tapas bar, it's fine. The volume of food is pretty light, and the service seemed a little slow, but the size and makeup of our group clearly overwhelmed them. We definitely came out ahead of what we paid. What bothered me was when I called they had no record of our Open Table reservation. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us, but I shudder to think what would have happened if I hadn't called. So yes, you can use them, but you'll need a Japanese speaking person to call because the Open Table reservation doesn't do anything. I asked, and they explained that Open Table reservations go to their main office, who doesn't forward them to the actual restaurant. That's a big problem, not with the restaurant, but with the restaurant's integration with Open Table. MoreOpenTable Diner -

As spring nears, we enter the sea bream spawning season, which is when the bream swim in to shallow waters from their deep-sea dwellings, marking the best time for fishing. In the bay, you can find the most outstanding bream with just the right amount of fat to enhance their flavor. At Kichiriki, we offer bream caught in Akashi and serve it in a variety of ways, including shabu shabu, which allows you to enjoy the tender texture of the fish, or grilled over open charcoal flames to seal in the natural flavors of the fish. In addition to bream, we also serve abalone, which comes into season in time for the early summer months, and first-of-the-season wild vegetables that boast amazing aromas. Every day, our Master Chef personally visits the Tsukiji Fish Markets to source the freshest and best quality produce of the season. Despite being located right near the busy bustling Shinjuku Station, our restaurant boasts a relaxed atmosphere with mainly counter seating.More

Exceptionally good meal on New Years Eve. We chose the fixed price full course dinner and we were glad we did. The selections were excellent. The foie gras appetizer was divine. The restaurant is pricey but not terribly so. Service was good but ever so slightly uneven (ie 2 waiters asked us for our drink order) but nothing anyone could complain about. Our meal and celebration in the bar was a highlight of our Japan trip. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nicer meal/special occasion. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Fantastic food, including Kobe Beef cooked to perfection in the set menu of ¥18,000 per person, which my wife and I both had. Excellent service as well, but as expected this isn’t a cheap eat, costing around £250 for 2 people, and we didn’t have any wine between us. Great restaurant for a special occasion. The service and the food was very good. We were told ahead that there was a time limit during lunch time nonetheless I think that its too short for us to enjoy the whole buffet cause of all the number of people, only wished that we were allowed an extra 30mins rather than letting people gushing in all at once. And although I realize that the place was packed we weren’t able to get water refills, maybe they were lacking people? I don’t know but all in all it was a good experience since our friend was delighted when she saw the Cake we reserved for the day. MoreOpenTable Diner -
