Three different waiters waiting on party of 6. Orders confused and food very mediocre. And pricey.
It was excellent
He ido muchas veces. Era un muy buen sitio de comida italiana.
Esta vez me decepcionó todo, la comida, la atención y los precios.
Definitivamente no volvería. Bajo mucho la calidad
A neighborhood feel in a Midtown Manhattan location. Great service. Reasonable prices for Manhatten.
The food was fantastic! The service was a bit slow but it was an off night but the food more than made up for it! I would definitely return and we are picky eaters.
Was amazing - everything was perfect
Great food as always
Tiny portions for what you pay
It was a great time. They prepare a cake with candle and sing a birthday song.
My friend was so happy. Thank you.
Absolutely excellent place for lunch. Great food, ambiance, they know what they are doing for the lunch crowd
Food very good, great location in midtown. Excellent service. Unfortunately despite a number of open tables, a group was sat next to us that insisted on playing loud videos on their cell phones and talking loudly. Their actions not under the restaurant's control but seating us so close together when unnecessary was. Will be back.
My evening started fine with an excellent martini from the friendly bartender. Then things went south. We chose to eat upstairs because of the noise level on the first floor. The air was stuffy and the surrounding decor noticeably sparse. Not being approached by a waiter, we had to ask who our waiter was. Our waiter approached but didn't introduce himself, so we had to inquire his name. We ordered wine by the glass with our dinner, but had to request refills as we had to do for our tap water. After finishing my lasagna and salad which were not particularly memorable, the waiter brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert and/or coffee. Bottom line, the food here is okay, nothing special, and the service is completely lacking. There are just too many other way wonderful Italian restaurants in Manhattan to enjoy for us to repeat this mistake again.
We came here to celebrate a Happy Birthday and they surprised us with a Tiramisu for the birthday celebrant. Food, dessert and wine were very good. 2 of us wanted to split 2 entrees and they accommodated. They split the 2 entrees on our dishes which was very convenient. We didn’t have to split them ourselves. They do not rush you out of the restaurant either.
Great for business lunches - it can be a 20 minute fast delicious meal or a slow 2 hour delicious meal. I’ve been coming here for business lunches and dinners for 15+ years and it’s consistently great. The grilled calamari is the best I’ve had outside Italy.
Food consistently good, varied menu. Great spot for easy and comfortable dining.
I love this restaurant. The menu is varied and delicious. The staff is efficient and helpful. A great midtown place for a meal.
Food is outstanding. Servers are attentive & I have never had a bad experience there.
Good environment ... courteous crew... . good price per value .
Consistently great meals and service. Never disappointed. Good value and fast.
Great food and service at this white table cloth midtown experience. Try the specials, and while they have a bar, the wine list has some moderately priced gems to choose from. Lemon Tart is a sweet version, but Creme Brulee, and classic Italian Cheesecake are top notch.
Welcoming environment, great food and good service.Perfect location for a birthday lunch.
Truly outstanding dinner. Excellent service—very professional. Pasta dish—large stuffed ravioli—was unique and delicious. Seafood medley was huge and perfect. Excellent value for New York. Felt like being in Italy!
I’ve been to this restaurant many times and thought to return again last night. Although the food was good our service was terrible.
First we sat at the table for 15 mins before anyone came over.
Second we were never asked if we wanted a cocktail, a glass of wine or even a soda or any beverage.
Third when I ask for pepper flakes that took 10 mins.
Fourth, after dinner and after they took our plates and asked if we wanted anything else (which we said we were all said and didn’t want anything else) it took 20 mins to get our bill. I only got it because I asked twice.
And mind you.... the restaurant was 40% full. 60% EMPTY and plenty of staff.
Like I said been going here for years and brought many people here and had large parties here. I’m thinking I will be thinking twice before I decide to come here or refer it to friends.
Sad. It was a good place all around. Food and service.
Three varied pasta dishes, house specialty (spaghetti and meatballs), linguine de vognoles, and rigatoni bolognese were all excellent and came out of the kitchen almost before we finished ordering. $27 is high for an (albeit delicious) plate of pasta but it is Manhattan, isn't it. Recommend.
We were seated at a quiet table in the back and quickly given water and bread. The specials were listed on a board making ordering and remembering very easy. The quantity of wine in our glasses were above the usual small amount in a large glass. The appetizer salad we shared of shaved endive, and other assorted greens and mushrooms were crispy and lightly dressed. The linguini with seafood was absolutely delicious with a large selection of seafood and lightly sauced pasta. We were too full for dessert, but oh, so very happy.
A very impromptu dinner reservation for my parents’ 30th Wedding Anniversary celebration. Fantastic food, fantastic ambience and fantastic service - we will definitely come back!
Cozy. Food average.
Food was good but you don’t get a relaxed vibe. Well diverse menu but prices are a bit high.
Great menu consistently high quality food and service
Great food and great service all the time
Excelente comida con sabor a casa. Para disfrutar con amigos, familia o la pareja.
The grilled calamari with arugula salad was very fresh and flavorful. The staff was happy to serve it on two plates for sharing. The linguine de mer serving was surprisingly generous and I enjoyed every bite. The best part is its proximity to our favorite hotel.
Very good food and service. Nice place to go after a show
Delicious Italian food. We Must visit while in NY, never missed it. Seafood pasta is my favorite.
Food is always great, and service good too. A little too noisy for a business lunch. Dinners are quieter, so I was surprised.
We enjoyed the food very much, service nice & portions are on the small side.
Hostess was extremely rude and dismissive.
Great authentic Italian food off the beaten path. Away from the tourists, you'll be able to get a great meal, with great service. The servers are knowledgeable about the food and wine. Plus, monthly specials change and there is a great variety on the menu, if you're unsure about what to get.
My go to location. Always meets expectations!!
First visit and was very impressed in all respects. Food was delicious, service was prompt, and ambiance relaxing. This is a great local place and I’ll definitely go back.
