The food was very good and moderately priced, a rare thing in mid-town Manhattan.
The eggplant parmigiana was fantastic. Although it was an appetizer, they gave me an entree size. All parties enjoyed their meal. Service was great!
Came here Friday night and the food was execellent, it has a home cooked feel and the waiters were very attentive. Overall Cellini is worth a shot and also not a bad value for the amount of Pasta they serve
Never disappoints -- a great spot for lunch or dinner.
Staff is wonderful!! Food is delicious and more then fairly priced!!! Had a GREAT time!!!!
I love Cellini. Always warmly greeted by the Beautiful Dorothy. Angelo provides top notch service Food is always good.
Excellent service in a quiet comfortable atmosphere with delicious traditional Italian food.
Always enjoy my dining experience here.
We welcomed by a half-clad waiter, served inedible dished and paid a much too steep bill. Never we’ll repeat that experience.
A great choice for a solid lunch- have been often and always a 1st thought for a business lunch
Excellent! Reasonable prices. Great food. Good area of NYC.
Not Italian food. Not good food. Waiters made no efforts.
Always great food and always great service. Never a disappointment. Linguine with white clam sauce, veal parmigiana and ricotta cheesecake. Perfecto!! Thank you always.
Great dining experience!
Our first course of eggplant parmigiana was outstanding, unfortunately that was the highlight of the meal.
We followed with the pasta carbonara which was almost watery and very thin tasting, veal Milanese was dry and the arugula salad on top was very plain and hardly dressed. The veal Marsala had a nice flavor but was really not special.
There was a nice choice of Italian reds to select from and pricing on the wines was a good value.
I wanted to like this restaurant more, it has this old time Italian feel but it just didn’t live up to our expectations.
We discovered Cellini's during our last visit to NYC and made a beeline there our first night on this trip because the food and ambiance are that good. Since my last visit, I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and the restaurant was able to accommodate my request for gluten-free pasta. The meal was delicious and satisfied my need for NYC Italian food.
Sit downstairs it's got upstairs
I always enjoy eating at Cellini's! The service is top notch and the food is always outstanding. This is my new go to place.
good food. friendly servers and helpful with suggestions. Cozy atmosphere
We can't recommend Cellini's enough! Such a hidden gem and the best authentic Italian food in the city! We will definitely be back soon!
Three different waiters waiting on party of 6. Orders confused and food very mediocre. And pricey.
It was excellent
He ido muchas veces. Era un muy buen sitio de comida italiana.
Esta vez me decepcionó todo, la comida, la atención y los precios.
Definitivamente no volvería. Bajo mucho la calidad
A neighborhood feel in a Midtown Manhattan location. Great service. Reasonable prices for Manhatten.
The food was fantastic! The service was a bit slow but it was an off night but the food more than made up for it! I would definitely return and we are picky eaters.
Was amazing - everything was perfect
Great food as always
Tiny portions for what you pay
It was a great time. They prepare a cake with candle and sing a birthday song.
My friend was so happy. Thank you.
Absolutely excellent place for lunch. Great food, ambiance, they know what they are doing for the lunch crowd
Food very good, great location in midtown. Excellent service. Unfortunately despite a number of open tables, a group was sat next to us that insisted on playing loud videos on their cell phones and talking loudly. Their actions not under the restaurant's control but seating us so close together when unnecessary was. Will be back.
My evening started fine with an excellent martini from the friendly bartender. Then things went south. We chose to eat upstairs because of the noise level on the first floor. The air was stuffy and the surrounding decor noticeably sparse. Not being approached by a waiter, we had to ask who our waiter was. Our waiter approached but didn't introduce himself, so we had to inquire his name. We ordered wine by the glass with our dinner, but had to request refills as we had to do for our tap water. After finishing my lasagna and salad which were not particularly memorable, the waiter brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert and/or coffee. Bottom line, the food here is okay, nothing special, and the service is completely lacking. There are just too many other way wonderful Italian restaurants in Manhattan to enjoy for us to repeat this mistake again.
We came here to celebrate a Happy Birthday and they surprised us with a Tiramisu for the birthday celebrant. Food, dessert and wine were very good. 2 of us wanted to split 2 entrees and they accommodated. They split the 2 entrees on our dishes which was very convenient. We didn’t have to split them ourselves. They do not rush you out of the restaurant either.
Great for business lunches - it can be a 20 minute fast delicious meal or a slow 2 hour delicious meal. I’ve been coming here for business lunches and dinners for 15+ years and it’s consistently great. The grilled calamari is the best I’ve had outside Italy.
Food consistently good, varied menu. Great spot for easy and comfortable dining.
I love this restaurant. The menu is varied and delicious. The staff is efficient and helpful. A great midtown place for a meal.
Food is outstanding. Servers are attentive & I have never had a bad experience there.
Good environment ... courteous crew... . good price per value .
Consistently great meals and service. Never disappointed. Good value and fast.
Great food and service at this white table cloth midtown experience. Try the specials, and while they have a bar, the wine list has some moderately priced gems to choose from. Lemon Tart is a sweet version, but Creme Brulee, and classic Italian Cheesecake are top notch.
