Would not recommend, its a diner with valet parking.
Horrible experience. Restaurant is severely understaffed. One waiter was left to cover the entire floor while another server waited exclusively on a group of the owner’s friends who were annoyingly loud. Meal took forever. Will not go back.
I have eaten at Cedar Creek numerous times. The food is consistently very good with a nice and varied selection, enhanced by daily specials. The service has always been consistently excellent and the restaurant is comfortable and accommodating. There is a parking lot right out front with Vallet service on the weekends. I highly recommend Cedar Creek!
Dinner with my husband and our priest was very good. Father is gluten-intolerant, and there was a separate menu for him. We all enjoyed our meals. My only minor gripe was that the live music was too loud, and we were as far away as possible. Let’s try acoustic next time!
The food and service was fabulous ! It's a great bar type atmosphere where if you sat at a table or bar you would have a great time! I highly recommend this place for a fun weekend date with friends.
Live music was great!
Must have changed chefs. My French dip came with onion soup dip, the steak was dry, the gnocchi was not fresh and it was totally overpriced. Very disappointed, will not go back!
Linguini with shrimp and marinated skirt steak were delicious.
Dependable local restaurant with nice vibe. Live music on night we visited. We will be back
I often find at Cedar creek. We have been there uncountable times including the past 3 new yrs Eve's. This time we invited friends and all of our food was not up to par as it always has been. The filet mignon was the last one left and it was horrible. A waitress that recognized us saw it on the table apologized and offered another entree. Skirt steak was the only option at that point. That arrived extremely tough and very disappointing just like the salmon and steak special. we usually order our favorite 2 pasta dishes which are always great but this time we tried new things are were disappointed with our meal.
It was New Year’s Eve and the restaurant was very busy. Service was a little slow but pleasant. The food was very good. My husband especially enjoyed the onion soup - my recommendation based on prior experience. Delicious with melted gruyere and not too salty. We’ll go again!
We had 7pm reservations for New Year's Eve & were seated immediately. Our drink order was taken & delivered within about 10 minutes. So far things were great. Shortly after our very friendly server took our order for the 1st course & main course, they had already run out of several items on the menu, it was only 7:30, poor planning. The 5 of us placed our dinner orders, as I said it was 7:30. Our 1st course came within 10-15 minutes not too bad. The beet & goat cheese was good, but you really needed to look hard for the cheese. Another ordered the arugula & goat cheese however they only had one instead of 3 goat cheese rolls left, charged half price. Should have charged a third of the price but I won't gravel. First course was finished in about 15-20 minutes, then the wait began. 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, we kept hearing any minute now the food will be out. In the mean time other tables that were seated long after us were served. Finally I asked for a manager & guess what our dinner magically appeared. 60 minutes after we placed our order, no explanation no apology, it's not like the place was over crowded there were several empty tables, no excuses. We should been offered dessert on the house, but that did not happen either.
My steak was cooked just the way I had asked for it, flavorful good size portion, but skimped on the side dishes. Another ordered branzino, very small filet, again very skimpy main course for the price. The pasta & shrimp were tasty as well as full size portion. The coffee & desserts were tasty, but as I said considering how long we waited for our main course it should have been on the house. It was a very long evening started at 7pm & ended at 11:30. They need to get there act together, dont think I will be going back there anytime soon.
New Year’s Eve.
We usually love this restaurant but 3 out of our 4 meals were bad. (1) Portion for Branzino was tiny; (2) Salmon so overcooked it was hard to cut and dried out; (3) Burger ordered medium came med-rare to rare. Since our meals took so long to come, we didn't return them. It was new years eve but we had an early dinner and the restaurant was not busy until later in the evening.
The experience started off well and food was pretty good. However, the service was lacking. After placing an order for apps, a runner brought the apps, and we could not flag down our server to place an order for entrees. Every time we did manage to get his attention, he gave us a flustered "its so busy in here tonight." Our expectations were minimal - at least take our order, ask us how our food is, and return in a timely manner to give the check or ask about dessert (which we also ordered). He didn't meet those expectations.
I'm a Celiac and so happy you have a gluten free menu, and the vodka pasta was excellent! Might have to do take-out of it once in a while. Thanks for a great meal, service, etc.
Its a good spot to watch the game or share a meal with family and friends-- basic, not bad, not great
Slow service. Not enough people working the floor. Food quality has gone down over the last couple of years. Not sure what happened here.
The potential was there for this to be a nice dining experience. It was anything but.
The cheesy 1970's lounge singer made having a conversation impossible.
The food was passable but not at those prices.
There needs to be some sound insulation. Even with barely 3-4 tables of people, between the singer and the echo's the sound atmosphere was horrible.
We will NOT revisit this restaurant.
Terrible this time. Food took forever to come out and when did they were cold. Have us free dessert and was old and gross. Creamer for coffee was in dirty cup too. Yuck.
Burger was excellent, highly recommend
Excellent restaurant with very good food and many food choices on menu from Burgers to Seafood. Nice beer and wine selection. Enjoyed our meal and we will be back!
Service was good, food was average. Crab cake was extremely salty, not the best.
Fish and chips came out raw...
Great food, great service, great room. My only criticism, and the reason for 4 stars and not 5, was the noise level. The music was way too loud, and greatly interfered with 4 of us, sitting at a booth, being able to have a conversation.
Tried Cedar Creek for the first time and was totally dissatisfied. The oysters and salmon were inedible. The service-was good but the waiter John had the entire dining room and was running like crazy. The cavatelli bolognese was great as well as the filet mignon and sole special. The better hire a real chef. Never going back.
The waitress was so friendly, down to Earth and funny. Loved the food as well!
One of my favorites
Friendly, courteous wait staff....didn’t rush us out.
Waiter pretty new but did well. Enough attention but did not rush us
Good food, kind staff and good value. Would go again
I was not happy with the quality of food on this visit to Cedar Creek. We have been there many times in the past but was disappointed in the steak.
The service was excellent but would not go back.
Saturday night, restaurant NOT full to capacity, and yet OUT of several dishes. On top of this, server forgot what I ordered and service was very slow. Too long until apps came out and even longer between apps and mains. No way we were going to stay for dessert. Give it a big miss.
Good food. Friendly prompt service. Reasonable prices
We love this cozy restaurant and bar. Gail is really a special person at the bar on Wednesday night. Always smiling and she takes care of her customers. Professional and great service . The food is great !
Food downhill and prices up !
Disappointed that seared tuna was not on the menu. It was an excellent dish that is no longer offered. All chicken dishes are excellent but there are not enough fish offerings.
We got sat down right at the time of our reservation. The waiter was fantastic and food was great!
Service was very slow. They put us right in front of the door where it was freezing. The special lobster ravioli was very small for$30. Lastly, we def think they cross contaminated my son's gluten free pasta. He has celiac and ended up throwing profusely that night
Had a reservation, but the table wasn't ready. We went to have a drink at the bar while we waited. Although the bar wasn't slammed, we had to wait a while for the bartender. Martini was served in a wine glass, just as was my scotch. The barrata appetizer was tiny and the pesto had too much garlic but the wedge salad was standard. For entrees, the Mahi was excellent, however the filet mignon was disappointing. Although the temperature was spot on, the meat was about as tasteless as you would get in a cafeteria. The hostess and waitstaff were very good.
