Food and service were very good atmosphere was quiet our booth was very comfortable.

In a meal which included cocktail, appetizers, entrees and desserts, there was only one flaw. My octopus appetizer had been cooked to the point of becoming rubber, which could barely be cut by a knife. All other items in our meals were cooked to perfection and were delicious.

Had a wonderful Birthday dinner for my husband. Great experience.

The service was friendly They served generous portions especially considering that this was a promotion.

We love this place. I sincerely hope you are lucky enough to get Brian as a waiter. He is knowledgeable, very friendly, takes pride in serving and is just an all around good human. (No I don’t know him personally-he’s really just that good). It makes the experience of Carbone’s even better, and that’s saying something as the quality is spot on. Try one of their specialty cocktails as well, you won’t be disappointed.

We went to Carbone's and hit the Restaurant week so we had that menu. We started with the calamari, which we always have when we go to Carbone's. It was excellent and we feel the best around.
My wife had the salmon which was very good. The portion was adequate. I had the filet which was outstanding and perfectly cooked. The sauce was exquisite. The salads and desert were great. I also liked the martini.
The only issue is the parking. The mosque across the street will not allow Carbone's patrons to park there anymore. Carbone's parking lot is very small so you will have to find a place to park in the street. The doorman, who is very nice, let's you know as soon as you pull into the lot. He is a nice person.
Carbone's is always a great place to go.

Went during CT eats weeks and ordered off the prefix menu.

The Table side Caesar salad was awsome,we ordered two specials the shrimp with pasta and cream sauce was delicious, NY strip medium rare was juicy. The short ribs were great and then dessert chocolate torte was a great way to end a great night with my sister and brother-in-law.

We came here for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful experience! The specials were delicious and the servers friendly. We wouldn’t do the table side bocce ball again though.

It was our 44th anniversary and it has been many years before we were at Carbone's. We arrived there early for our reservation and planned on having cocktails at the bar. Our daughter raved about the Blood Orange Martini's. We settled into our seats and ordered a matching pair of martini's They were very good but a little on the sweet side for me. Since one of our favorite spots to eat is at the bar, we told the bartender that we would like to change our reservation to the bar. My wife thought she was at bar tending school as she watched Paul mix and shake some interesting combinations. Her next drink she settled on a Black Cherry Sour and I opted for the Blood Orange mojito. Both hit the spot. So we both had our eye on the Pasta Fagioli soup. Great choice. We were there for the veal as a main course. A nice thick veal Chop Parmesan and a Veal and Eggplant Napoleon capped our evening. Service was great. Parking was safe with help from the parking attendant. Perfect evening for my wife and best friend.

It was absolutely fabulous!!! The food, service, and having gone during taste of Hartford week the amount of food for the price was great! VERY Pleased!

We went during the Taste of Hartford 2020 deals and sat at the bar. Both bartenders were extremely nice great service. I had the veal Sultan BOKA marvelous meal

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at Carbone's Saturday evening. We took advantage of the Taste of Hartford and it definitely met our expectations and then some. Our portions were just enough for us and our meal was just so delicious. We don't often come to Hartford from Meriden but it certainly was well worth it on Saturday evening. We think we will return sometime this spring for another delicious dinner.

The staff at Carbone's is wonderful. Everyone is courteous, helpful and has a smile on their face. Our meal was delicious. Cocktails and wine were lovely. We liked the room in which we dined. Thank you for a wonderful time, especially the classic tableside service of Caesar Salad and Bananas Foster. Love it!

The restaurant really surprised me. My meal was exquisite, My service was excellent. Parking was easy, secure and free.

Attentive service and great meals - perfect evening!

During restaurant week we like to go to Carbone’s as a great price for excellent food. We go there when we want a great Italian meal. When you first walk in you are greeted warmly. At Carbone’s you feel like family. Their service is fantastic as the staff takes very good care of you. You always feel very welcome in their home.

Carbones never disappoints. They are a class act. The food is top notch, the cocktails are award winning, ambiance comfortable yet lively. EVERYone should experience this classic, well executed varietal Italian menu, quality ingredients and like being in the dining room of your best friend's home. All the way down to dessert, EVEN on restaurant week!!!

I would definitely recommend eating here. The food was fantastic. Not the cheapest place out there but well worth it.

From start to finish our experience was spot on. The service and food were superb. We will be back. There is a nostalgia that Carbone’s of Hartford has that is so different than many modern restaurants today.

My absolute favorite restaurant. It always feels special here like you are going out for a special occasion.

While the food and service were phenomenal, parking and passing through the bar area to our table were a huge problem.

New sever took a long time to order never came back to ask for drinks

Very enjoyable dining experience, after the first half hour or so. It took a really long time to get our waiters (yes there were 3 assigned to our table) to take our initial drink and appetizer orders for some reason. They were pretty busy on a Friday night, but it wouldn't have taken much to satisfy us. All I want is a drink other than water as quickly as possible and maybe some bread. I don't mind waiting for you after that. But we were forced to wait about 30 minutes before we could eat or drink anything which is a bad start to a meal.

After that though, we enjoyed the whole meal. Everything was cooked well, and dessert was fantastic. We recommend El Diablo coffee for dessert if you have some time and money to spare. It's an experience worth trying once.

Taste of Hartford deal was very good.

Went to Carbone’s during the Taste of Hartford. Food was good and prices were reasonable. We really enjoyed our starters (winter salad and arancini). My husband thought the sauce on his entree (manzo au poivre) was a bit overpowering and there were too many capers in my shrimp and scampi. Desserts were delicious, especially the Torta di Angelo. Service was just okay. Servers were pleasant, but brought out an incorrect starter for my husband. It took a long time to receive our meals after the starters, but luckily, we were not in a rush. After our meal/dessert, they never inquired if we wanted coffee and just brought us the check. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our experience at Carbone’s and would go back.
