Oh always a fine time at Cafe Nuovo! We were on the patio with heaters on a very chilly night and just had fun. Drinks and appys: lettuce wraps, raw bar and pizza. Yum. Look forward to a happy outcome from the Covid shutdown and send all the staff best wishes.

After having an amazing experience here for my birthday in June my boyfriend and i just had to go back for our 5 year anniversary. We got the tomato soup again, which is pretty much the best soup we’ve ever had. Or waiter Brian was attentive and incredibly friendly. The special was a ginger soy steak dish which i loved and my boyfriend got the boneless short rib which was so tender he didn’t even need a knife. We split the pot of mousse which is an incredibly beautiful and flavorful dessert.

The atmosphere, the food and their service were all excellent. It was a great dining experience. We will absolutely go back.

Sat outside under heater. Very safe, great cocktails, professional service. Food was delicious, would have liked the portions to be a little bigger but overall, cant wait to go back!!

Seated near the bar (no patrons due to COVID) noise level louder than expected. Service was professional however slow in between servings. The filet risotto seasoning was not balancing heavy pepper at times that didn’t work well with the truffle and the risotto was under cook. Hard to tell the Chef’s intentions. The Veal Chop was overly complicated and to sweet a dish that over powered the main ingredient, the Veal. The polenta was spectacular but onions were not charred. We will try Cafe Nuovo in the future. Overall the restaurant was a good experience for the first time.

We're so glad we dined outside here. They did a great job with social distancing the tables by using 3-sided tents with heaters. We were very comfortable and the food and service were just amazing! thanks so much for getting it so right during this chaotic time!! We really appreciated it!

Fantastic and amazing as always. My waiter was really nice, I don’t remember his name. But I hope I have him every time I come here. If I could spend money to eat here every week I would. And a special shout out to the people cheffing it up in the kitchen.

Wait staff was very attentive and added a sweet touch to our dessert to honor our anniversary. The ioldfashion bourbon cocktail was delicious and the duck and scallop entree's were presented well and absolutely scrumptious.

Just a beautiful day to be outside and the location of Cafe Nuovo is perfect. Lunch menu is great. Both plates were lovely to look at and to eat.

My first time eating here. Was very nice, valet right out in front no downtown heavy traffic hustle. Ambiance was good. Service was great and waiter was very attentive.

Temp was high 50's but it was very comfortable outside with heaters running. Wonderful experience as always.

We had a wonderful dinner and I love this restaurant. The only odd part was the extremely small amount of vegetables that came with my friend's steak. It was lucky we had ordered salads otherwise he essentially would only have had meat on his 'composed plate' with 2 brussel spouts

The service was incredible! Top notch! The waitstaff was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly - made some excellent recommendations on wine to pair with our food. The food was delicious and extremely well prepared. The hosts were warm and very friendly and even offered patrons brand new blankets to keep warm for outdoor dining (we were allowed to take these blankets home with us). The ambiance both indoors and out is classy and beautiful. An amazing and memorable experience! Highly recommend!

I always have an amazing time when I come here. The food is breathtaking.

Very windy the night we were there and so colder than it might have been in a more protected setting. Still, it was lovely although it was annoying having to constantly keep the table cloth edges down.

The food itself was superb—all enjoyed what they ordered.

Lots of care was taken to prepare our food. Delicious and beautifully prepared on the plates. My wife and I ordered different deserts, but we shared some bites to see which one we liked best. Both we "over the top" awesome! Our waiter was very experienced with the food options too. He checked with the chef to make sure our needs were met. Outstanding experience as we celebrated our anniversary!

I brought my sister there for her birthday. She was blown away by the fabulous food.We agreed that it was worth the drive just for the martinis and she lives in CT. We will definitely be back.

First time at Cafe Nuovo with my beau from Wellesley. I wanted to introduce him to one of my favorite places in Providence. Cafe Nuovo did not disappoint. He was duly impressed with both the service and the food. Looks like we’ll be coming back soon!

We went at 4 PM on Halloween and dined outdoors on the patio. The temp was in the 40’s but it was very pleasant and had several outdoor heaters. The food as usual was top notch. They are always very accommodating in helping me make gluten free selections. Our waiter, James was delightful and makes a great cappuccino with lots of foam. Very enjoyable dinner.

One of the best around for upscale dining and top notch drinks. One of our favorites. 👍

We had a great meal with social distancing inside!

We went at an off hour so the kitchen could accommodate my food allergies, and they did a SUPERB job with my dinner. Our waiter was very conscientious and the whole staff was following protocols.

I had a business meeting and we were given space , unrushed, our waiter was always attentive and not seen when we were holding discussions. The ambiance was great and both partners were seated where they could enjoy the river view. The overall result was great!

I reserved a table for my birthday for 2. First they put us in awkward place and then outside all the way to the end. It was awfully windy and chilly so we asked them to move us in side which they did which felt like we made a mistake. We had to wait for 30mins to get out table cleaned after we finished. They were serving everyone around us with too much detail and care. The environment made us feel like it was mainly due to the racial reasons. I never this comfortable anywhere else. It was indeed the most disappointing experience I ever had and I was embarrassed to my friend as it was special dinner for you.

We were first sat in the middle of the restaurant which was pretty uncomfortable with traffic and the door opening however once we told our waitress she moved us as soon as she could. Most everyone had mask on besides one employee working in the back with the food which made us a little uncomfortable. The salmon was great. We also had oysters which were really good. My daughter got chicken fingers which were really dry and hard but the fries were freshly made. I had a cocktail with bourbon and apple cider which was really good. Our waitress was very down to earth and awsome. She made my boyfriends birthday dinner fun and special.

We went for drinks only and had a nice table on the river. The service was very slow but that may have been because we were only there for drinks and did not order food. The place seemed lovely and the food looked good. Will have to go back for dinner another time.

Cafe Nuovo has gone out of their way to provide a safe environment during COVID. The food is delicious, the staff are great, and the ambiance is perfect. What a delightful place to sit outside by the heat lamps, and enjoy the evening.
