This is only our third time here but we have thoroughly enjoyed our meals every time. Wait staff is friendly and efficient.
We enjoyed the roasted beet salad, followed by the goat cheese with arugula. Our Prisoner Saldo Zinfandel was delicious and enjoyed throughout the meal. We ordered the crab stuffed shrimp (3 jumbo) and fluke. Both entrees and their sides were excellent. We finished with blueberry peach crisp which was perfect. The restaurant is nicely appointed and enjoyable. We will be back.
Normally, very good. This particular night the service was rushed, and not relaxing. Waitress was frazzled.
Fantastic!! Fantastic!! Fantastic!!
Hadn't been there in a while. Forgot how great it is.
Great Place... Great Food... Great Service... One of our go to places
Server was excellent and informative. Enjoyed the local vegetables and fruits-everthing from our appetizer to dessert was made perfectly. Will be back!
Lunch with a friend. Delicious salads and bread. Our table was in a quiet area, but it was a little noisy with a group farther away in the restaurant. Love, love their Kale Salad, my favorite!
Great attentive friendly service. Salmon was excellent as was the broccoli rabe. Gave 4stars because the pasta was overcooked.
Very friendly staff. A favorite of ours. Delicious food and generous portions (good for a lunch the next day)
In from out of town. Found this place. Booked ressy. Place was hopping, a good sign. Everyone enjoyed choices they made. I had squid ink pasta with seafood. And a Caesar salad. Homemade dressing. Very nice. Cocktail came with a single large oversized ice cube. Nice touch. Wish I could go back, but left the area. If you are thinking about it, go for it!
We felt as we were rushed. Our total time there was 1 hour for 4 people. Then one of the waitresses brought over salad to us in error and the manager came over and aggressive grabbed them of the table and said those are not for you.
Bricco Trattoria is always consistently great. My wife and I split a delicious Boston Bibb salad, followed by Filet Mignon for her and Australian Rack of Lamb for me. Both entrees were outstanding. I paired a glass of Australian Shiraz with the lamb chops and really enjoyed that. We finished the meal by solitting a piece of lemon pound cake, which came with coconut ice cream, whipped cream, strawberries and strawberry sauce. If you haven't tried that dessert yet, I highly recommend it.
We love this spot and it is on our regular rotation of Friday night dining. We had the organic heirloom tomato salad - especially good, and a kale salad - the best in town. We each ordered a pasta - rigatoni vodka and cavatelli napolitano - delicious. We shared the fallen chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream (what else?) which was rich but not overwhelming. Our martinis were perfect. Mary, our server, was superb.
table fine. service poor. iced tea with hardly any ice, had to ask for it. Long time to be waited on. Food, mediocre, nothing outstanding;
I specifically asked to be seated outside. The person who called to confirm also confirmed we would be outside. When we arrived the hostess told us that outside seating waa not noted on the reservation and that all the tables weee full. This is the second time its happened. Very disappointing. Our server was awesome thougb!
Excellent service and ambience. Food was very good, not sure if I would give it 5 stars, though. I have had better mussels. Did not have dessert but the menu looked delicious. The entire menu had plenty of choices to suit anyone's taste and wallet. Would return and recommend.
Not as good as usual. Food was substandard. Service was slow.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! We will definitely be coming back
Delicious lunch, excellent service, lovely atmosphere!
Lamb chops cooked & seasoned to perfection
Creamy polenta was perfect
Server was Excellent
Can’t wait to return
Pretty much as the ratings went . . . . . service was quite expedient, food was very good for all three of us. A bit noisy, however that's the nature of Bricco. If one wants a very quiet dinner, then make reservations at a candle-lit establishment.
I always have a nice time at Bricco. I met up with a friend i hadn't seen in a long time and the staff was very accommodating that we were busy catching up and ordered drinks and didn't look at the menu for a while. The food was wonderful, we had a delicious mussel appetizer and I had marvelous fluke and a side order of shishido peppers. Very very nice evening!
15 min wait after being seated before anyone came over. Another 15 min wait after providing my CC for payment. I ended up chasing down the server to get my CC back. Nothing like feeling forgotten at the beginning and end of a meal.
Great (Water) Mellon summer salad
We go to Bricco quite often. Most of the staff are outstanding. Tonight was not one of them. The Gentleman helping us was at best rushed. He had another table near by that seemed to get better service. I normally tip 20, 25% if we get great service. This was a 15% night. We asked for the Broccoli for my Grandson to be just plain steamed rather than salted with Garlic (this was off the children's menu). He refused to even ask the kitchen, he said that is the only way it comes. Normally when we dine there with friends, one of which can be quite particular the kitchen accommodates them.
We will be back but if we get this waiter again I will ask the hostess for a different one.
Food, drink, ambiance, waiters service were all excellent. Food and drink arrived quickly.
Online table reservation worked great and table was ready when we got there.
Waiters were very friendly and courteous.
Would recommend this place for dinner.
Outside on a warm night with great service
The food was superb, as always. Our server was extraordinary. This was a birthday dinner and he loves to go here.
Patio dining on a beautiful night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Excellent service and loved the new Happy Hour menus.
Went for a family event and requested a specific table, even called to confirm - was disappointing to get a different table , it was close but not the one we wanted and that I spoke to the employee about. The chairs were highly uncomfortable for my family with knee problems bc of height. This outshadowed some of the experience — the food was good enough. Truly the highlight was our amazing server Julie, she was patient, friendly and extremely attentive. If I Went back I’d want her as a server, we were an interesting, somewhat demanding bunch and she handled like a pro.
Great Place... Great Food... Great Service... One of our go to places. This time we took some friends with us that had never been.... Great time & Great food had by all.
Great food. Great service (thanks James!). And great place to go with friends!
James was a great server. He made us feel welcome and was very attentive to our needs.
The hostess and two other at the "front desk", and no one offered a welcoming greeting, actually, no greeting at all. Our server lacked knowledge about the dishes and did not offer any guidance, she was abrupt, and could have spoiled our experience if we were to allow her to interfere with such great food. She just didn't get it. She did the perfunctory "is everything okay" and then slammed dishes on the table, dumped wine from the mini carafe as if she was filling the dogs water bowl, cleaned a spill on the table only when asked and only on my wife's side of the table. The food was all great. The octopus carpaccio was delish as was the crabmeat avocado toast. There was a lot of arugula between these two apps so when we were inquirying about the watermelon salad and its size, there was a perfect opportunity for her to suggest that perhaps we might not need a salad too, but that would have involved engaging with the customer and trying to help enhance the experience. She handled my "dairy" line of questioning in a most insensitive manner. Bottom line, everything we ate was absolutely terrific. I have traveled for over thirty years and eaten at well know and unknown restaurants across the country and can honestly say that the quality of the dishes I had at Bricco was outstanding. Its too bad that they don't focus on customer service.
I am not a frequent patron of Bricco but am considering it as a "go to" place. Food was excellent...had the swordfish and friend had the salmon. Bricco greens salad is an excellent complement to a dinner. Tables for two are small and difficult to fit the plates. Noise level was uncomfortable but it was because we were at a booth just on the other side of the bar area...believe there was a "happy hour" crowd that was very loud. Service was very attentive and polite. Will definitely continue to visit and hope that the experience improves...seating is an important part of the experience especially if I am with more than just one person.
One of my favorite restaurants for lunch or dinner!
Food was excellent. Pasta cooked perfectly, as always. Waitress was exceptional (Louis?). She was helpful without being obtrusive, and her recommendations were most welcomed. Loved the strawberry-rhubarb dessert!
We love this restaurant! Local.. delicious meals. It’s is our go to spot for dinner out and we always know the experience will be top notch!!
Food was excellent. Our waitress was very pleasant and gave us great service. It was very loud though and our party of six found it hard to talk without shouting.
