Our server was outstanding; food was excellent
Noisy, disorganized but trying. Food mediocre. Wine good. Will not return.
Great dining experience at Briccos. Our waiter was very personable and attentive as well. Delicious all around!
My wife and I just moved to town and gave Bricco in Glastonbury a try as we’re trying to find steady places to visit. I might add that my wife is Italian straight from the homeland so she (and I) are particular about Italian food and it’s authenticity. Well, Bricco was a delight. Great pasta dishes, calamari and wine. The service was fantastic, too. Prompt and courteous. We hardly waited for dishes. If you’re on the fence to try Bricco, don’t worry, it’s a delight.
Great variety of choices on menu. Excellent service and best food in Glastonbury!
This is the 3rd time we've been to Bricco and the food was definitely not up to par.
The crab pasta was flavorless, the was supposed to be a rosemary bread crumb on top and instead I had a bland flavorless bowl of watery pasta. I attempted to boost the flavor with some salt but it never really achieved the description on the menu. My husband had eggplant parmesan and the presentation was odd. The eggplant was the consistency of mush with a half inch of melted cheese on top. As it was a special we didn't read the description but typically we see layers of eggplant (flavor) with a dusting of cheese over pasta. The one star of the evening was the lamb meatballs appetizer which were quite tasty.
This is the second time I have visited Bricco's and both times were fabulous! The Lobster Grilled Cheese made famous as seen on the Oprah show is fabulous, we were actually able to get this as an appetizer and the chef was nice enough to slice it in 6 for us to all share! the food is fantastic, service is great! highly recommended
Great evening/experience at Bricco! My partner and split a salad, steak and stuffed shrimp - all of which were delicious! Our waiter was very good/attentive. Overall a great dinner experience!
Had a group of 9 at dinner. Excellent service from reservation to exit. We liked the variety of the menu and all left full from appetizers and entrees. We skipped dessert so may have to make an visit and leave room for that too.
One of the absolute best restaurants in the region. We eat here two to three times a month. This visit the server was uncharacteristically inattentive. Won’t stop us from returning. Bricco’s use of local farm ingredients is not only creative and fantastic but also responsible.
This is my favorite restaurant in the area. Everything is always good, love the seasonal vegetables the corn is so sweet. Love this place!
Great food and service at reasonable prices. What more do you want?
Food was delicious, we sat outside, it was perfect.
Great restaurant, great food...amazing service. chef always keeps the menu updated with seasonal items
We had a great time dinning Saturday night. It was a tad loud so if you are hard of hearing I wouldn’t recommended this restaurant. The food was awesome and the price was great!
I can’t say enough about the calamari it’s always cooked perfectly, while every dish I’ve had has been great, I wish they would change up the pasta dishes more often
60th birthday dinner. Excellent as usual
I often go here both for work related or date nights. I enjoy everything about the place well except finding parking hahaha but seriously a great place for good food & get together good times!
My sister’s birthday. They didn’t do anything special for this occasion. Surprising for a nice restaurant.
always reliable. interesting food choices. menu varies. terrific classic martini
Always good food and good service. Sustainability in the restaurant business is very hard, so they certainly have the right formula. Bring your friends because there is never a disappointment.
Appetizers came out the same time as the meal.Limited menu.
This is only our third time here but we have thoroughly enjoyed our meals every time. Wait staff is friendly and efficient.
We enjoyed the roasted beet salad, followed by the goat cheese with arugula. Our Prisoner Saldo Zinfandel was delicious and enjoyed throughout the meal. We ordered the crab stuffed shrimp (3 jumbo) and fluke. Both entrees and their sides were excellent. We finished with blueberry peach crisp which was perfect. The restaurant is nicely appointed and enjoyable. We will be back.
Normally, very good. This particular night the service was rushed, and not relaxing. Waitress was frazzled.
Fantastic!! Fantastic!! Fantastic!!
Hadn't been there in a while. Forgot how great it is.
Great Place... Great Food... Great Service... One of our go to places
Server was excellent and informative. Enjoyed the local vegetables and fruits-everthing from our appetizer to dessert was made perfectly. Will be back!
Lunch with a friend. Delicious salads and bread. Our table was in a quiet area, but it was a little noisy with a group farther away in the restaurant. Love, love their Kale Salad, my favorite!
Great attentive friendly service. Salmon was excellent as was the broccoli rabe. Gave 4stars because the pasta was overcooked.
Very friendly staff. A favorite of ours. Delicious food and generous portions (good for a lunch the next day)
In from out of town. Found this place. Booked ressy. Place was hopping, a good sign. Everyone enjoyed choices they made. I had squid ink pasta with seafood. And a Caesar salad. Homemade dressing. Very nice. Cocktail came with a single large oversized ice cube. Nice touch. Wish I could go back, but left the area. If you are thinking about it, go for it!
We felt as we were rushed. Our total time there was 1 hour for 4 people. Then one of the waitresses brought over salad to us in error and the manager came over and aggressive grabbed them of the table and said those are not for you.
Bricco Trattoria is always consistently great. My wife and I split a delicious Boston Bibb salad, followed by Filet Mignon for her and Australian Rack of Lamb for me. Both entrees were outstanding. I paired a glass of Australian Shiraz with the lamb chops and really enjoyed that. We finished the meal by solitting a piece of lemon pound cake, which came with coconut ice cream, whipped cream, strawberries and strawberry sauce. If you haven't tried that dessert yet, I highly recommend it.
We love this spot and it is on our regular rotation of Friday night dining. We had the organic heirloom tomato salad - especially good, and a kale salad - the best in town. We each ordered a pasta - rigatoni vodka and cavatelli napolitano - delicious. We shared the fallen chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream (what else?) which was rich but not overwhelming. Our martinis were perfect. Mary, our server, was superb.
table fine. service poor. iced tea with hardly any ice, had to ask for it. Long time to be waited on. Food, mediocre, nothing outstanding;
I specifically asked to be seated outside. The person who called to confirm also confirmed we would be outside. When we arrived the hostess told us that outside seating waa not noted on the reservation and that all the tables weee full. This is the second time its happened. Very disappointing. Our server was awesome thougb!
Excellent service and ambience. Food was very good, not sure if I would give it 5 stars, though. I have had better mussels. Did not have dessert but the menu looked delicious. The entire menu had plenty of choices to suit anyone's taste and wallet. Would return and recommend.
Not as good as usual. Food was substandard. Service was slow.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! We will definitely be coming back
