Bricco Restaurant - West Hartford
The best restaurant in the Hartford area. The food is excellent, the wait staff service oriented and a wonderful atmosphere.
Reservation is for 9 o’clock seated at 9:45 second time that’s happened recently
The hostess in charge of seating was rude and condescending. Although the food was good, in the future I would prefer to select a restaurant that excels at both cuisine and well trained personnel.
All in all, our experience was good. The only downside was that we had to wait 15 minutes for a table, even though we had a 7:00 reservation, which was frustrating. Once we were seated, the food and service were great!
Great food. Excellent Service. Always booked during most evenings of the week.
We came especially to eat the amazing Lobster Grilled Cheese Sandwich and we were not disappointed. I know this is an unusual offering in an Italian restaurant...but try it and see for yourself. I almost got my favorite Baked Rigatoni dish...but there will be plenty of cold nights ahead for that treat!
The food here is fabulous and so is the staff. Dining here is always a great experience!
Very reliable and always tasty
Second time in Wedt Hartford’s location-typically frequent visitor to Glastonbury-which I love! Our West Hartford waiter was rude and insulting - not helpful when seeking a pasta dish without meat. His “opinion” on wine was as insulting, as he deemed himself “an expert” when, indeed he was not. Food was, as typical of Billy Grant, exceptional!
Always delicious. Wait staff exceptional!
We have never had a less than excellent dining experience at Bricco in the many years we have been going there. The food and service is always of the highest quality. It can sometimes be a bit noisy, but during our latest experience noise was not an issue despite a large party seated nearby.
Noise level was low, which was good. Of course it might have been because our reservation was for 5pm.
Our server,Steve, was as good as always, which was excellent.
See you again soon.

My wife and I frequently visit for special occasions and always enjoy seasonal meals we would never be able to cook ourselves. The food is top notch and some of the best I had in CT. The menu is simple in a good way. Order anything and it is awesome. I had the pot roast with a pistachio goat cheese salad. Amazing! The inside gets tight and loud and we had no shortage of people coughing and sneezing inches from our food but it’s that season. This place hold a special place in my heart and I will continue to come back for the amazing food and service.
The only problem was we were seated at a tiny table adjacent to the corridor heading to the bathroom and kitchen.
Bricco's has a very enthusiastic clientele with obviously many loyal customers. The food is very good. Nothing fancy but everything we had was well prepared and tasty.
Service and food were excellent, we will be back!
Brunch was great
Wonderful restaurant
Bricco’s is our all time favorite restaurant!! The food is outstanding! We love this restaurant.
As usual, the food and service were very good-excellent. Noise level is the biggest negative. Not just from the patrons, our table was situated against a wall (we assumed the kitchen/prep area) and we were treated with loud , vibrating bangs. Not very pleasant.
The food was good but it was pretty noisy. Our server Julie was so professional—helpful, polite, personable—I would go again.
Excellent as usual!!!
This is my go-to lunch spot in West Hartford. With all of the choices, that's saying something. The range of choices is perfect and the food is always well presented and delicious. Our party each had something different: one cod, one fig pizza and two different salads. Everything was delicious. The service is always good: attentive but not overbearing. Will definitely return over and over.
Great meal, wonderful food with a an awesome server - Megan - who really makes you feel at home.
Tee shirts, ripped jeans and flip flops were the dress code for a Friday night of dining. What used to be a restaurant for special occasions is now a overpriced average restaurant.
Absolutely my favorite West Hartford restaurant.
My wife and I shared a delicious Tuscan salad. I enjoyed linguini with crab. Very pleased at the generous amount of crab in the dish. My wife had the buccatini. The eggplant pieces in the entree were small in size, but it was very tasty.
The server was attentive. The tab for two drinks, two lunch entrees and a shared salad was $61, which I consider appropriate for the quality of the food.
Food and service were very good. For a week night the restaurant was more crowded than usual. Consequently, the noise level was high. The price was what I expected.
The prosciutto with melon rivaled what we had and loved in Rome and Sorrento. The food and wine were outstanding. This is a popular busy restaurant and now we know why. Excellent!
ALWAYS five stars. Been here so many times, NEVER a bad or mediocre experience.
Very good margarita pizza! Especially the tomato sauce
Great fine Italian fare in a casual environment. Highly recommended. One of the best restaurants in the area.
The most consistent food in all of West Hartford center. Great value, friendly atmosphere, and great food.
It was excellent as always. Great food and service.
Everything was amazing. The octopus was perfect! The meatballs are a must!!!! Dinner wow the ink Cavatelli out of this world....the baked rigatoni in vodka Sauce a must have! To say the least it was a perfect evening!!
We meet here every other Thursday night. The food is fabulous and the service is most excellent. Shout out to Samantha (Sam) our waitress. She remembers the drink orders and the wine! She has such a wonderful personality and is always smiling. It is the perfect combination of food and service. Excellent experience!
Our waitress, Melissa, was incredibly friendly! She made the experience enjoyable in addition to the great food. We had the Smoked Ricotta Ravioli to start, the entrees Chicken Milanese and Rack of Lamb - both moist and cooked beautifully, and shared the Tiramisu and Nutella Pie with cappucinos as dessert!
Good food. Tight seating and a little on the loud side. But overall always a solid choice for a meal when you’re dining in the Center
How was Bricco Restaurant - West Hartford? Awesome as usual! Restaurant Bricco in West Hartford never disappoints. Both my husband's filet and my Fennel & Black Pepper encrusted Tuna were phenomenal! My mouth is watering just writing this review!!! We started with the Boston Bibb Salad and Bricco's phenomenal cocktails - BRICCO ESPRESSO-TINI for my husband and ELYX BIANCO COSMO for me. Needless to say there was no room for dessert! Our waitress (Julie) was super and very accommodating with my gluten/dairy intolerances. It's nice to have a place to go where the staff truly cares.
Best restaurant in West Hartford Center. Consistent, great value, always greeted with a smile.
Love, love, love Bricco's in West Hartford. It was a little loud but the service and food quality were superb.
Always top notch food and service!
